I am very pleased with the care and attention my mother receives in this care home. All the staff are very good with her and I know she is in safe hands here. The only complaint my mother has is the food, which isn't always to her liking but otherwise, she has nothing but praise for all the care staff.

My brother has made many new friends at Croft Avenue Care Home, both among the residents and the staff. He says every single member of the staff is great. I find the home a very caring and cheerful place and this is down to all the excellent staff. Thank you all.

I see the many activities in the newsletter but my brother prefers not to join in. I wish he would but it is his choice and the home respects his wishes.

I am very happy with the care home, the staff go out of their way to please and Mum seems very content with her surroundings and says the food and care are very good. Mum's hearing is very poor but the staff are always willing to help with my phone calls which is very much appreciated.

All staff in the care home are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoy reading the newsletter and seeing what the residents have been doing. It is great to know the staff carry out so many fun activities with the residents. We are very pleased with the care our relative is receiving in the care home.

Croft Avenue Care Home really puts a lot of effort into making sure the residents are well looked after and there appears to be lots of activities which are communicated to us regularly in a newsletter. As a relative that lives a fair distance away, it really is appreciated we can see what has been going on and feel engaged. Every time you visit the staff are really helpful and friendly.

I feel that things in the home seem better. This may be because we are now allowed to visit in residents' toom, plus, I think having an activities coordinator again is very beneficial. There seems a nice atmosphere and staff seem happier. I do find it difficult to assess some of the areas as Mum is unsure about things, but overall, my brother and I feel that Mum is well looked after, and there are some lovely staff in the home.

The wonderful staff at Croft Avenue really make my sister feel comfortable. Whenever I speak with her she has nothing but praise for the place she now calls home, and we, her family, can't thank everyone enough for the great work they do making her home such a happy place.

My father-in-law recently moved into Croft Avenue Care Home and he can't speak highly enough of his new home. He enjoys the food, friendly staff and seems very happy with the care he receives. He also talks about how nice and homely it is inside (although I've not been in myself due to the current restrictions). I can however say that when I visited him in the lovely gardens a couple of weeks ago the staff were happy, friendly and seemed to be pretty on the ball with all the checks they have to do at the moment with the rules around Covid.

I would happily recommend this home to anybody looking for somewhere to look after their loved ones.

My father came to Croft Avenue for respite care after falling badly and spending six months in hospital. All the staff were very welcoming and helped him to settle in quickly. After a couple of weeks, he decided to stay here as he was so well looked after. There were all sorts of activities to look forward to and plenty of company from both staff and other residents. As my father became more frail, the staff were really good at keeping in touch and making sure I knew how he was day to day. Under Covid restrictions, I wasn't able to visit so it was important to have good communication. I can't stress enough how kind, thoughtful, loving and supportive everyone is at Croft Avenue, both to residents and their families.

This is a wonderful care home with lots of character. My aunt is very well cared for and happy living at Croft Avenue.
The rooms and common areas are well kept and clean and talking to my aunt and other residents they seem happy with the food although I have not eaten it myself.

The range of activities are stimulating and the atmosphere in the home is happy with plenty of laughter from both residents and staff. Most importantly, the staff are attentive, friendly and patient. When my aunt lived in her own house she had become lonely and nervous, here however she has a new lease of life. We are so happy she is being so well cared for in this lovely place.

The staff and care given is really good. They are all very friendly and helpful. The furniture in the lounge and dining room is very worn and badly needs replacing. The food is really good and always plenty of it.

I am writing this for the gentleman I booked into the care home after he had fallen and was in hospital for two weeks. The manager came to the hospital, talked him through things and asked about his likes and dislikes etc

He was to be in the home for one week respite but we wanted it to be for longer as it was so good. He found the constant droning of the dementia patients wearing.

Excellent staff go beyond care of duty despite the fact that residents sometimes do not appreciate the care and support they receive. We, the family, appreciate the care given.

My mum recently stayed at Croft Avenue during the later stages of her life. The staff were excellent throughout mum's stay and they made what was a very difficult time much easier. The whole team were professional, helpful and extremely caring at all times. They made mum feel safe which was really important to her and supported our whole family throughout a very difficult time. The home had a lovely "family" feel to it and I would recommend Croft Avenue to other families.

I needed to find a care home urgently for my mother. In one week I visited, was greeted by extremely friendly efficient team and moved my mother in. The room is beautiful. Everyone has been so lovely and she loves the food. I live 300miles away so it is good to know she is in safe hands.

Mother had to come to you as an emergency for respite care which has now turned into permanent care. As we didn't know of your home until being in this position was very pleasantly surprised by the welcome and all facilities offered, which has subsequently meant we are very pleased she is able to stay with you permanently. This is a big thing for a 97 year old to leave her home, but we are very happy with this solution. Staff, facilities and all that is offered is excellent. She couldn't be in better care.

Croft Avenue provides a very caring environment for my mother. The care staff are all very kind and caring. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. All of the family feel that the quality of care at Croft Avenue is very high. Mum particularly enjoys joining in with crosswords and quizzes as her mind is still very active.
