I found the care home to be clean, light and airy. Also, the staff seem to be very friendly and helpful. My friend seemed happy and said she felt safe.

Review from Verna J (Daughter of Resident) published on 6 January 2020 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My mum stayed for 10 days as part of her respite care. The atmosphere in the home was marvellous. Staff were wonderful. She thoroughly enjoyed the food. The home was being redecorated, the team of decorators were part of the entertainment package, they were totally professional and very supportive of the residents, not obtrusive.
In the run-up to Christmas, the entertainment was wonderfully planned and received by the residents. All support provided as part of the respite package was first class. As a visitor, I felt part of a well-run team and I was kept well informed of my Mum's progress.
She was disappointed she made such a good recovery in a short space of time; thanks to the staff and the support received, that it was only a two-week stay. Her transfer to her own flat was well orchestrated.

Cedar Court provided a warm safe environment for my Mum when she needed it. Thank you.

My husband has been in three different nursing homes, in the space of six weeks. Cedar Court has the most caring, loving, professional, polite staff you could ever meet. They are excellent, they deserve ten stars.

Thanks everyone at Cedar Court for the care you have given my husband. Well done to you all.

Since coming to the home, I have always been treated well by all the staff. Most will put themselves out when you need them.

I do, however, feel that things are used of a cheap quality which makes me rather annoyed that you are now increasing charges by 8% which is well above the cost of living.

The care mother receives is very good. Mam has a good rapport with her support team. I also have a good rapport with the carers. (I also get a lovely cup of tea!!) Mam gets involved with house activities (as best she can as she has dementia). Overall I'm pleased with her care.
