other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

My uncle was very happy at Church View but his only complaint was not being allowed out without being accompanied. I appreciate this was for his own safety though.

My mam is well looked after at Church View.
It is a clean, friendly, caring and safe environment for her.
The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful and look after her very well.
There are regular activities for her to join in with and the food is very good.
I would definitely recommend Church

Excellent home in every respect.
Always treated with respect and kindness.
Very good range of food which Dad enjoys.
Activities arranged in the home.
Excellent additional care - nails, hair cutting etc.
We feel that Dad is respected and is safe 24x7.
Staff are very helpful and approachable.

attitude to their job.
Bathing/showers/cleanliness of room/bedding/washing and ironing is exceptional.
Constant daily contact by our visiting him at any time.

I have found the home to be clean and tidy. The staff have included us in mom's care and have provided information and we have had the opportunity to discuss any issues. They have liaised with the medical team about these issues. All of the staff which includes catering and cleaning, as well as care,
are friendly and caring, mum is not a team player and does not join in activities but there are plenty for the residents.

My mother who is almost 99 years old became a resident here on 21st April 2016. She was supported well with settling in and is very happy here. Her every need is met. The whole staff are very friendly and helpful and work quietly and efficiently to make all residents feel at home. As frequent visitors
we are impressed with the calm, peaceful atmosphere and the welcome we receive.

I and my family can't praise the staff at Church View enough for the care and attention they provided to my late mum during the latter days of her life. My mum was precious to me and so i chose her care home very carefully knowing it would be the place where she passed away, I was so glad and picked
Church View as it was a superb support to mum and her family and will recommend it to anyone who needs this support.

Our mother who was 96 years old was in Church View for only a few weeks and we could not have asked for better care for her. The accommodation was very clean and everything was well organised. The management team were very professional and the manager and her staff gave us support and guidance when
we needed it.
All the staff were excellent as nothing seems to be too much trouble and they always took the time to have a chat with her which she really enjoyed. The home has an excellent relationship with the externally based nurses as they visited promptly whenever they are needed. We would recommend Church View to any of our friends and family.

Amie Crumbie

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2015

I’ve worked at Church View for more than 10 years in different roles. I came from school as a Lifestyle Coordinator, then moved into care, then admin to the Deputy Manager role and now the Home Manager. I’ve gained lots of knowledge about the needs of the residents over this time.


As Home Manager, you need to be friendly and approachable, have good knowledge around care and be able to make decisions in what can be stressful situations. It’s my job to make sure residents are happy, comfortable and all their needs are met.


Spending time with the residents, building relationships with them and seeing their smiles is still my favourite part of my role.


My colleagues make me proud through the hard work and excellent care they provide every day. I was also proud to be named Apprentice of the Year at the Care UK Stars Awards 2022.


If I'm not at work, I’m spending time with my two children.
