This is home is an outstanding establishment, they have kept my grandma amused during these trying times. The home put so many actions in place to keep both residents and visitors safe while we weren't allowed to visit.
It’s now been 1 year since seeing my gran in person and not once have I worried
as I know she is in safe hands
The staff are outstanding and this home deserves 10/10.

My mother spent the last three years of her life at Langley Park. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and her resulting dementia had become more difficult to manage when she came to Langley Park Care Home. From the start, I was impressed with the friendly atmosphere there, it felt like entering someone's
family home. All the staff were very helpful and kind, and nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff has had dementia training, and that made a big difference to my mother's behaviour. They know how to look after patients with dementia, and my mother responded to that. They treated her with dignity and respect as they did all residents. They were also keen to promote information about dementia, and I learnt a lot from them in understanding this very troubling disease. My mother died in the home, and they made sure that I could say my goodbyes (being Covid restrictions). It was very peaceful and calm, thank you, Langley Park, for all your love and care.

My mother was a resident at Langley Park Care Home for several years. When she arrived she was suffering memory loss and mild dementia. Her dementia worsened over time. The carers at Langley Park gave her the best possible care throughout her stay. Not only was she well looked after physically
but members of staff were always on hand, in the lounges, the dining room and the meeting rooms chatting to the clients and making sure that they were happy and well-occupied and felt loved. The atmosphere in the home was always sunny and welcoming and as a visitor I never felt a nuisance but was always encouraged to come again and see my mother as often as I wanted. My mother loved to walk but as she aged getting her ready to go out became more and more challenging, but however busy were the staff they would always help me to get her ready for her outings. I can recommend Langley Park unreservedly.

I visited my grandma in the gardens of the care home for the first time since lockdown. The process was very smooth and safe. The staff were very friendly and interacted well with me and other residents. They also controlled the situation well, ensuring everyone kept 2m apart, and residents were kept
warm despite sitting in the garden. Can not fault them.

My grandad was very ill last year and had memory problems. It was so sad as his health declined. It was such a struggle for our family to get him to accept help. He became ill and eventually went to the care home after such a difficult time in hospital for weeks. He is so happy and well now and has
the most amazing life. Doing art, dancing, mini-golf, are a few of the many things he does. Things he never would have tried. He loved art as a young man so we are so happy to see him join in with activities. Knowing he is safe and really happy is great for our family. He loves it there, they help him in every way and are like a big family. We can't thank the staff enough.

This care home puts the needs of every resident first also the staff are friendly and will do what they can for everyone. All the residents are happy. I also like the fact they post updates on FaceBook.

Absolutely love everything about this home. My Granda has been a resident now for a while and the staff are totally amazing. I couldn’t wish for a better place for him to live. Well done to the manager for having such an amazing team.

In what has been a scary and extremely uncertain time Langley Park Care Home has put our minds at rest so we know that my father in law is in the right place and being well looked after. My partner's mother is currently in this amazing care home.
The staff do an amazing job to ensure residents are looked after professionally and also go out of their way to add the personal touches needed to make residents' stays as comfortable and enjoyable as possible with plenty of fun-filled entertainment.

Both my parents have been resident at the home since 2015. Sadly my mum passed away The care and support that has been given over the years is of the highest standard. The staff provide excellent care ensuring dignity and respect for my father who has dementia, they go above and beyond to meet his care
needs. I will be forever grateful for the support that has been given to my family. The management and staff deserve the recognition as they work so hard especially under the circumstances at the present time. Thank you.

My grandma went into permanent care at the home just before lockdown, this was a huge adjustment to the family, especially my granda who had been her sole carer for over 30 years.
It was a worrying time going into lockdown knowing we couldn't see her but the team set up a Facebook page and have been
constantly sharing their daily activities and photos.
It has really kept our spirit up.
The staff have been absolutely amazing in communicating with us throughout, we visited my grandma for her birthday and although we couldn't enter the home the staff brought grandma to the door and we were still able to share a special moment and watch her open her gifts. Myself and my mam have received personalised cards made by my grandma which I'll treasure forever.
Overall the staff look like they are going above and beyond during this difficult time.
We are all genuinely over the moon with the care she been receiving.
Would definitely recommend.

Langley Park Care Home is fantastic. The staff are the most dedicated and caring group of people. We were a family at breaking point when our relative was admitted due to severe memory problems, self-neglect and been a persistent ambulance caller, and after months in and out of hospital going round
in circles, we got a place for our relation in this home. They have transformed his life. They have built him up, gained his trust, and support him in ways we just couldn't manage. Their care and support are outstanding, they have changed our relations' life. He adores the staff and is now in good health and engaging with others because of the support the care home has provided. We are eternally grateful to each and every staff member and thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

So glad we chose this home for my mam, all staff are amazing and it really is like a big happy family. We can’t fault the care she has received and all the lovely activities they do are fantastic.

I cannot praise the staff enough. My dad went into Langley Park Care Home just as lockdown happened. This was extremely difficult for us but the staff were amazing. They have made sure we can keep in touch with my dad via phone and spend so much time with him talking about us and looking at family photos.
They also share photos and videos with us so we can see how he’s doing. There has also been a massive improvement in my dad’s physical and mental well-being. I feel so reassured that he is being so well cared for. You’re all amazing! Thank you so much!

This care home is second to none, giving residents 5-star treatment and gives families peace of mind when we have placed our loved ones into their care. COVID caused many challenges across the world this year and this home protected our loved ones and staff risked themselves on the front line. The residents
have had a fab time with all the parties and activities provided by staff and the Facebook pictures were very uplifting knowing life still goes on regardless.

Both my parents resided at the care home. Mum from November 2018 until she passed away in February 2020. Dad from January 2020 until he passed away May 2020. We cannot praise the staff enough for everything they did for mum and dad. Absolutely fantastic. They kept the family updated, really important
when you live in other parts of the country. Thank you.

Meet Sarah Jones.
Sarah has been an integral part of Langley Park Care Home since December 2008, beginning her career as a carer after completing her college placements at the home. Over the years, Sarah has steadily advanced through various roles, including senior carer and deputy manager, before being appointed as care home manager in November 2020.


Her journey is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and passion for providing exceptional care. Along the way, Sarah earned her Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care Management, giving her the skills and expertise to effectively manage and lead the team at Langley Park. Her deep understanding of the home, having worked in several capacities, allows her to create a warm, supportive environment for both residents and staff.


Sarah’s long-standing commitment to Langley Park Care Home and her hands-on approach ensure that residents receive the very best care, with a focus on dignity, respect, and well-being.
