As a family, we could not be more pleased with the care my dad receives here, he has been in Barchester Woodhorn Park Care Home since last year and settled in straight away with the help from the staff and senior management with a dementia care plan in place. All the staff are very attentive, caring and involve my dad as well as all the other residents on a daily basis doing different activities and fun days. All our family are kept informed on how my dad is doing and make us feel welcome every time we visit, nothing seems to be too much trouble. Every time you go in everyone in the home is smiling, happy, clean and having fun, it's lovely to see especially to see my dad so happy, we would highly recommend Barchester Woodhorn park care home.

At Woodhorn Park we do have a memory lane community and we know some of our residents do see other residents' clothing and like to place these on, we do work with our residents to ensure these are removed and returned to the rightful owner as quickly as possible. We appreciate the time our relatives take to label their loved one's belongings and we understand it would be very frustrating to see their loved one in another person's item of clothing. I would like to discuss your review more with you so we can resolve any concerns you may have.

The care home has been fantastic with our mother. Anything she needs or wants, they do; they have also rung myself if my father hasn't turned up to visit Mam (Dad is in poor health). They have also taken time to ask about my own health as it's a very stressful time with both parents.
