Overall Experience

I can't recommend Towy Castle highly enough. It is in a beautiful location. It was always spotlessly clean when I visited. My father entered the home in January 2017 and was very happy there. He told me on more than one occasion that he felt lucky to be in such a beautiful place. The staff were always very kind to him and he used to enjoy having a little joke with them. I was very grateful that it was such a positive experience for him.

Overall Experience
I am so grateful that my mother spent the last six years of her life in such a caring environment. I have only praise for the quality of care, the professional understanding and the atmosphere of tranquillity at all times.
The staff are so committed to their roles and so involved with the welfare of each resident in such a way that everyone feels valued. As a visitor you feel welcomed and a part of the caring home environment. The staff are well trained and experienced to communicate with residents and visitors in a professional but caring manner.
Always positive and complimentary about the ones they care for and always willing to go that one step further by making visiting an enjoyable experience.
I travelled 2 hours to visit my Mum and was always made welcomed and always felt at home and amongst friends.

A caring management team led by sensitive and passionate owners for the welfare of their residents, giving the home an ethos of warmth and security to our loved ones when most needed.

Overall Experience

My mother had been a resident of Towy Castle Dementia Unit for over four years. I cannot praise the staff enough, for the exceptionally high standard of care that was shown towards my mother, myself, our family and friends who have visited over the years. My sister and I recently stayed with our mother during the last few days of her life. We were totally overwhelmed by the genuine love, compassion and support received during this time by everyone on the team, from management to housekeeping.

My father-in-law, at 91, also came to live in Towy Castle at the beginning of the year. After an initial settling in period, he absolutely loved this new chapter in his life. He was so happy and would adore teasing staff with his quick wit and twinkle in his eye. Recently he too died, following a short illness. Staff were genuinely affected by his death. What more could anyone want, than to know that their loved one is having the very best in care? Towy Castle provides just such a service.
