Abermill Care Home

Honestly, I have never seen my mother so happy and looked after by all the amazing staff at AberMill. My mother lived alone for many years and she became a recluse - she went from being a social butterfly to not wanting to see anyone, sleeping the days away and not wanting any interaction from anyone. She has been in AberMill for a few years now and what a difference in her - she's back to living her best life and loving every minute at this wonderful Care Home. Words can not express how grateful and how at ease I am now, knowing she's entertained, taken care of but most importantly, loved. Thank you to each member of this amazing Team. Absolutely wonderful.

I love coming to visit my Nan and seeing how happy she is. They constantly put entertainment on for the residents and my Nan loves being part of it all. She is always laughing and joking with all the staff there and they love her. The staff are fantastic there and my Nan is back to smiling and laughing and we love it. My Nan speaks about all the staff there like they are family. Thank you so much for looking after her x

I cannot thank the staff at Abermill Care Home enough for the care they provide to my Dad. It was a difficult decision to hand over care but we know he is in safe hands. Special mention to one carer who spotted a medication error made by the hospital, my dad would have been seriously ill otherwise. There have been really good activities and parties that have been organised well. Christmas was particularly good. Huge thanks to all the staff, too many to mention who have made my Dad's stay so great. Thank you.

Not a lot I can say. My overall experience has been very good. The one problem I had was dealt with dignity and sorted almost instantly.

Very good all around. Well cared for. Mum is very happy here and that's what counts.

Always welcome when I visit, it's a pleasure to visit. Everyone is so friendly. My friend is very happy living here and she is so well looked after.

Thanks for everything you do for my Nan. She looks a lot better.

It is great to see her eat, clean, dressed, and washed daily.

Dad is very settled and well looked after. His only complaint is not enough curry. His room is lovely and many of his things are on display which he likes.

I'm very happy with how he's settled in here.

My father has become a different person for being in Abermill which is a testament to all the staff for making him so welcome and engaging and caring for him as they do. He has a great relationship with the staff and believe he is a well-used character. The attention to his care is second to none and speaking with him today he has never felt so good for some time as he does now being at Abermill.

The 80's celebration entertainment for residents and family was excellent - great fun and participation. All clients were shown love and care absolutely everyone was included. I can only recommend and thank all the organisers for such a great time.

My Father has been here for a year and he has improved (settled) so much, the staff at Abermill are always happy and friendly every time I have come. They keep me updated and informed in every aspect, very grateful to them all.

Having a lovely time at the 80's theme in Abermill Care Home. Residents all were involved with singing and dancing if able with help. The staff have all played their part in organising such a fab afternoon. Well done all!

My wife and I have been visiting our friend at Abermill Care Home on a roughly fortnightly basis for the past three years. We have, invariably, found her to be comfortable and content in her surroundings. We have always found the staff to be welcoming, friendly and attentive to both residents and visitors alike. All in all a credit to the care industry.

I cannot thank Abermill enough my mam has been there since March the difference in my mother is amazing she is joining in with all activities which she wouldn't have in her own home staff are all helpful and providing the care that Mam needs seeing my mother so happy there and being so well looked after thank you to all staff at Abermill for everything you do for Mammy.

Abermill have taken brilliant care of my nan and we couldn't have picked a better care home.

My wife has been in Abermill Care Home for quite a while. I visit her each day the staff always offer me tea or coffee. My wife enjoys joining in activities with residents, the home has been refurbished and looks very nice and fresh, I also attend family meetings I would absolutely recommend Abermill, I would like to thank the management and carers for all the hard work they do for the residents.

Whenever I visit the staff are very welcoming. They are very aware of the client's individual needs my aunty has been a resident for 18 months and she is very happy and well looked after.

Am very happy here we are looked after well. Food is excellent staff take good care of us. Meals top chose activities. Always choice it's the move I've made.
