Greenhill has been purpose-built to provide residential care packages and also welcomes adults with Parkinson’s disease and a dementia diagnosis. Packages are individualised for each resident, taking account of respite, convalescence and palliative needs.

Accommodation in this modern care home is set across one floor providing good wheelchair access. Rooms are bight, spacious and comfortable offering a positive interior for the lives of older people. Landscaped gardens are popular during the summer and there is a choice of social areas. Residents can benefit from the homes close locality to the local shops and bus routes.

The care that all the staff provide is outstanding. My sister chose to go into the home for respite care in October following a course of Chemotherapy. From the moment she entered the home she said that she felt safe, happy and cared for. Unfortunately she was admitted to hospital for a week and following
her discharge she decided that she wished to live permanently in Greenhill. I cannot thank all the staff, from the handyman, domestics, catering and care staff, enough for the wonderful care that she received whilst she was a resident. I think that a lot of the NHS staff that my sister encountered during her illness would benefit from spending time at the home to see what care and compassion really is all about. Sadly my sister’s condition deteriorated and she died in December, but even then the staff treated both her, my other sister and myself with respect, care, consideration and love. I would have no hesitation in recommending Greenhill to care for your loved ones.

Every member of staff gave my mum care and respect. They always had time for me and any queries I had. They were friendly and reassuring and made my mum's respite feel like a holiday. She plans on going back to visit the friends she has made.

My mother has been a resident of Greenhill since March 2023. She has settled in and made friends. She has a lovely room and is beautifully cared for in every aspect. I, or another family member, visit daily and we have ample opportunity to observe how excellent, caring, kind and warm the staff are.
Her every need is provided for, but more importantly, she is happy.

My father is living at Greenhill for nine weeks following a hospital stay. He has a lovely large room and has been very well cared for. He tells me the staff seem to anticipate his every need and he will miss them when he goes home. The staff are without exception welcoming, cheerful, friendly, considerate
and affectionate. The single-storey accommodation with wide corridors and private outdoor spaces is easily accessible and suitable for those using mobility aids. The atmosphere is bright, airy and welcoming.

My mother-in-law is very happy and content in Greenhill Care Home. She is very well looked after in a caring and respectful manner. Her room is fresh and clean every time I visit. My mother-in-law's hygiene is excellent, even a hairdresser and chiropodist visit her regularly. The service grom the doctors
and nurses are excellent too. The home keep me well-informed at all times. The food is also excellent. We are very grateful.

Coming into work feels like being with family and I get to meet some really fantastic and interesting people. I have been given lots of training opportunities and have become an in-house trainer for manual handling and 'how do I know you' dementia training.
