I have been at Nazareth House twice a day for the past three weeks as my friend has been very poorly. I stayed overnight and I could not praise the staff enough. The day staff are angels. The seniors on nights are great but some of the carers at night are not good. My friend said I was in hell last
night. I asked why, his reply was that two carers were very rough. Two carers during the day saw the marks left on him, on his leg and bottom. I have come in at midnight, 10 pm and other times to ensure this does not happen again. My friend has been here 33 years and has taken spiritual care of all residents and staff up until the last 18 months. Three staff in particular I can't praise enough.

Mum has just moved into Nazareth House in the last four weeks. We could not be more satisfied with the care and support we have received. All staff have time to chat with Mum and answer my many queries! Mum is slowly finding her way to settle in. I realise Mum is safe and well cared for by all staff
from domestic, activity coordinators, reception, canteen to hairdressers.

Staff have been very welcoming and supportive to Dad and us as a family, to adapt to a new situation. Dad is thriving and getting involved in activities during the day. Nazareth House has a homely feeling and is spotless.

My Nana has been a resident at Nazareth House Glasgow for almost 4 years now, and as a family, we could not fault the care and attention she receives from care staff and management.
The staff really take the time to really get to know the residents. They know their likes/dislikes, interests, preferences
etc. This is from activities, to food/drink and also her personal care.
Recently, when my Nana took unwell, the staff could not have been more attentive. Management and care staff have also made us, as a family, feel extremely welcome at any time of the day while caring for her.
We couldn't pick a more perfect care home for my Nana to live in, and we can't thank the care home manager and her team enough for looking after her so well.

My friend has been cared for at Nazareth House for 5 years, but cannot return there from hospital.
My friend now needs palliative care, but her needs are not complicated. She simply has to be kept comfortable for what remains of her life. The Home manager consulted no-one at the hospital before telling
her daughter that Nazareth House could not meet her needs; the Consultant and charge nurse were surprised not to be asked about said needs.
Instead of comforting her dying mother during her last weeks or months, my friend's daughter now has the stress of finding new accommodation, thus reducing the time they can spend together.
Nazareth House is misleading families into thinking that their loved one will be cared for at life’s end. My anger that my friends are in this situation is made worse by Nazareth House supposedly being a Catholic institution. To merit that title, more is required than a nice chapel and a grotto in the grounds. A little Christian charity towards a dying woman and a modicum of compassion would not go amiss.

My aunt moved to Nazareth House on 29th November so has not been here very long, but the difference it has made to her is amazing. All of the staff, from the carers to the admin girls are fantastic, very caring and easy to deal with. From day 1 they couldn’t do enough to help us to get her settled in.
There is a real homely atmosphere. My aunt had been in another care home where she was absolutely miserable, but she has come on in leaps and bounds since moving here. It’s a beautiful place, very warm and welcoming and there are lots of activities to keep the residents amused. We had viewed many care homes before deciding this was the one for my aunt. I would recommend Nazareth House to anyone.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mum receives since entering Nazareth's care eight years ago. The staff have become our extended family. We are reassured and supported. Mum is very well cared for and loved by all staff. Would highly recommend Nazareth House Cardonald to any family considering
care for their loved one.

My mother has only been a resident for only a short period of time, however I am delighted at the service that is being provided for her care, This is a very well managed care home, with well trained caring staff. Very good facilities and all areas are well maintained and clean. My mother's room is
vey homely and spacious. Residents are offered a wide range of activities to keep them stimulated.

Nazareth House has a lovely, homely feel to it. Always clean and tidy, gardens well maintained. My nan is a lot more settled since moving here. Staff have a great relationship with her and genuinely care about her. We feel at ease knowing she is well looked after. Would extremely recommend to others.

Nazareth House has an amazing ethos. Staff are warm, friendly and accommodating. My aunt has been treated with dignity at all times. We love coming down to have afternoon tea in the main entrance area. It's like the 'outside world'. It doesn't feel like an institution, It feels like home. My aunt regularly
goes to Mass and there are great activities on every day, which she thoroughly enjoys. Highly recommended.

Staff are always friendly/welcoming. Great that there is always things to do, such as games for residents. Staff are always interacting and acknowledge everyone. Social on a saturday is good. My grandmother seems to enjoy it and likes doing exercises. Staff also know she loves her tea.

Nazareth House is full of warmth and laughter. Every time I visit, the atmosphere is so positive and happy. My aunt is absolutely at home here and, as a family, it gives us so much comfort to know how well she is cared for and treated with love and respect.

The staff are always very nice and welcoming. Mother-in-law has only been in for 6 weeks and is settling. Good activities to be kept busy, mixing with other residents and with staff and enjoying activities, there is always something on every day. Mother-in-law also enjoys social evenings. The staff

I was so worried about having to put my mum in a home and looked at a lot of them and I definitely picked the right one. My mind is so at ease leaving her here as she is so settled and at home here. The staff are all amazing and it feels like a big family now. My mum is so well looked after and wants

All staff at Nazareth House are warm and welcoming. I requested to come in and have a space to wear my wedding dress to get photographs with my Nana. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, they even made sure she had gotten her hair done beforehand to get beautiful pictures. I am forever grateful.
