I have been very impressed by the high standard of care. The staff know the residents and show great compassion in dealing with them. The quality of furnishings in the rooms is of a high level and the personal touches help residents feel at home.

My father-in-law has settled well into this facility. The caregivers are patient, caring, understanding and reliable. They have been attentive to his needs and their care has taken him from a dark period with little expectations of a good outcome to a happy gentleman who is able to enjoy life again. Thanks to their fantastic care.

My proud father was very hesitant about moving into a residential home. However, since moving into Nazareth House in July, this anxiety has gone. The care and kindness shown to him and his fellow residents is second to none. This is giving his family peace of mind.

My father became a resident at Nazareth House a few months ago. An independent man who was reluctant at the outset, our fear and concern was alleviated by the kindness and support of the management and staff. A fantastic team led by a manager who has given comfort and exceeded our expectations in relation to the care of my father.

All the staff are always happy and cheerful; nothing is a bother to them. The tables in the tea room at Reception are too low for residents in wheelchairs to reach because you cannot get wheelchairs near, the table legs prevent this. Older people have unsteady hands and have to stretch over to reach their cup of tea. It's a worry.

My sister-in-law has been with Nazareth House for the last 16 months. The care and affection shown to her have been exemplary. The home is spotless and comfortable and she was very happy there until her death. I cannot think of a single fault and would especially like to thank one member of staff for keeping me in touch throughout this period. So many other members of staff showed great kindness to her and they are to be congratulated for their dedication.

We found the staff to be caring, friendly people who did their best to make residents happy and comfortable in their room and in the general areas. The atmosphere in the home was cheerful and they had a number of activities for the residents. They also had entertainment in the home.

I think Nazareth House is one of the best care homes in Scotland. It is scrupulously clean and it is very modern. The staff go out of their way to help in any way they can. I love the way the staff interact with the residents. There is always a good atmosphere any time I visit.

I would recommend Nazareth House to anyone thinking of placing their loved ones in a care home.

Love the garden view from my ensuite room, and the fact that I can see people coming and going. I love the care and attention I receive from all care staff, day and night. I love the fantastic laundry service, daily freshly laundered clothes. I also enjoy the wide variety of activities offered.

My sister is now in palliative care, having been in Nazareth House for almost 10 years. The care she has received has been outstanding and now that she is very ill indeed, we are amazed at the level of care for her physical, emotional and spiritual needs. It gave us peace of mind to see her.

When we were looking for residential care for my sister, we visited several care homes in the area and some were grim. As soon as we came into Nazareth House, we felt their mission statement was alive in their treatment of the residents. We would recommend this establishment to anyone.

My mother was unwell recently. The care home staff have always been excellent looking after my mother, but during and after her illness their care and support to her and myself was outstanding. There is always a lovely cheerful atmosphere in this home and I feel that the cares are grossly underappreciated by the general public and Government.

I am greatly impressed by the holistic care, the loving generous and welcome of all the staff each time I visit. The residents are treated with such love, care and dignity. There is an atmosphere of happiness all around. Lots of activities offered to the residents. The staff show great patience to all, no matter how difficult some residents are. They go to great trouble to find out each resident's history, hobbies and desires.

A well led and managed care home with motivated, well-trained caring and compassionate staff. The fabric and fittings of Nazareth House are of a very high standard. Rooms, lounges, corridors, kitchen are kept very clean. The key aspect is that staff are so caring, helpful, compassionate as well as practical and hard-working, led by a strong management team with an ethos of excellence in caring for people.
