She now has a bed with sides as I insisted that's what she wanted.

When you do raise concerns they are dealt with promptly.

I am a friend of a resident who celebrated his 100th birthday in Farm Lane care home on 29th August 2017. I am delighted to say that the staff at the home were so helpful in the lead up to the day and on the day itself when there was a party for over 50 guests and residents. Food and drink and a big cake were provided by staff who also arranged for 2 mounted Met Police horses to visit as well as the local nursery children who sang Happy Birthday in 3 different languages.

Many complimentary comments were made summed up by one "The home is superb and the staff very friendly. I've put my name down for a bed in due course". It was a very special day which could not have happened without the help and support of the manager and all her staff.

My only disappointment is the piano if I had the opportunity I would have played you a song or two.

Although standards have improved I still feel that residents are alone in the main sitting room (1st floor) for a period of time. There always seems to be a recruiting programme and agency staff. Although my mother's daily routine is on her bedroom wall, when I visit she doesn't always have her dentures in. The cleanliness and dietary needs are excellent.

Very satisfied with nurses/carers. Very unsatisfied with the physio. I believe no improvement was made due to everything being a "rush".

Perhaps these two members of staff should manage the home.

The refurbishment of Farm Lane care home is bright and cheerful, as are the always welcoming staff. The dementia unit in particular, has been sensitively decorated, with differently coloured doors that are easy to distinguish. The activities programme has also received a boost. The range of activities includes cooking and gardening, the home has both a roof garden and large outdoor garden, where the annual barbeque and open days are great fun. Most unusually, residents spiritual needs are catered for by sessions involving Montessori-style story-telling and worship. These innovations have created a remarkably calm environment that fosters the well-being of everybody.

It is very clean. Staff are kind and happy. They take really good care of my grandpa who can't do anything for himself. His bed is always clean and so is he. The Doctor comes if he gets a nasty cough. If I had the same problem I'd like to come here. I am eight years old and come here quite often.

Well my auntie is in here and I hope she will walk soon. It is very nice here and she is being looked after great.

I believe this is a very good care home and the staff are brilliant, anything you ask them to do is not a problem. I'm very happy that my brother is at Farm Lane.

My husband left hospital with 2 very badly damaged feet, unable to walk, so couldn't come home. We were amazed at the quality of the home/rehab unit. The entire staff were very helpful all the time and very encouraging from start to finish. He has had so many exercise sessions and physiotherapy and has made dramatic strides. He is now able to walk and improves daily.
