Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible. There are no additional fees
for respite stays.

an agreed hourly charge for this service.

My husband left hospital with 2 very badly damaged feet, unable to walk, so couldn't come home. We were amazed at the quality of the home/rehab unit. The entire staff were very helpful all the time and very encouraging from start to finish. He has had so many exercise sessions and physiotherapy and
has made dramatic strides. He is now able to walk and improves daily.

Job Title: Home Manager

Before my current role, I was deputy manager, so I feel privileged to have been promoted.


It is incredibly rewarding to lead a team I’m really proud of.


The most important aspect of my role is to ensure residents are happy, safe and well cared for. It’s wonderful watching the team work well together with dedication and compassion. Seeing the positive difference we make in people’s lives keeps me motivated.


I’ve been part of Care UK since 2006. I chose to work for the organisation because it truly values people – both residents and colleagues. I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside fantastic colleagues over the years and have been supported throughout my career.


To be a home manager, you need a combination of compassion, dedication and strong leadership. It’s important to genuinely care about the well-being of residents and to be able to support and motivate a team. Each new day brings a fresh set of challenges, so it’s essential to have strong problem-solving skills too.


Patience, empathy and excellent communication skills are also key as you need to build relationships with residents, their families and colleagues so that everyone feels valued and heard.


I enjoy spending my free time with family, listening to music, reading, and travelling.
