Ashwood Care Home is a modern, three-storey building providing specialist residential and 24-hour nursing care for older residents.

All rooms are en-suite and are freshly decorated throughout. Residents are welcome to bring items of personal furnishings to the home to make their room familiar and comfortable.

The home has a number of communal areas for personal or group enjoyment and the multicultural care team work hard to adapt to the varying needs of residents.

My mum became part of your wonderful care home family in March 2025. She is very happy and loving life. I am so happy to see mum doing well and enjoy her life with you. Mum turned 90 in May and was spoilt by the home. The staff are outstanding and they all work over and beyond for all the residents.
Every visit is a pleasure and every one says hello. Nothing is to much trouble and the home is so encouraging. Plenty of daily activities, trips and functions, which mum loves. Thank you Ashwood for everything.

My brother has been a resident at Ashwood for 18 mths. He has a degenerative condition which means he is bed-bound in the main. Staff are usually on hand to support my brother and keep him clean and fed/hydrated - as he is unable to do this for himself. They are all friendly and dutiful and talk
to my brother when they are attending to him although he cannot respond to them. He is treated with respect. I get updates from Gladness (onsite nurse) when there are any health issues or concerns. Home management provide updates/notifications frequently and seek feedback to check that what they are doing as regards care, support and activities is appropriate. Whilst my brother cannot take part in activities I often see these taking place - including a singer singing songs from the war/post war era which was very good and the residents seemed to really enjoy this! It's clear that a lot of thought goes into this. Rooms/facilities are generally clean. I would recommend the home to families

From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you walk out, you are treated with love, care, with smiles and understanding. My daughter-in-law is so happy and so well cared for by the delightful staff. The manager comes to greet you and is always available to chat with, and nothing is too
much trouble for the fabulous staff. I often cry with gratitude for this wonderful, safe place.

Thank you so much for looking after Rita for these last 6.5yrs. It's been heart breaking for our family watching Rita decline over these last few years. Not living locally, we weren't able to visit as regularly as we would have liked but it was comforting to know that Rita was always well looked after
by the Ashwood team. I have to say a special thank you to Gladness , she has been lovely , always making sure we were updated accordingly and always treated Rita with dignity and respect (as did the rest of the team). Her care throughout her stay has been consistent and any isssues that have cropped up have been dealt with quickly and efficiently.

My sister was asked to go into Ashwood from a stay in hospital with the intention of staying full time if needed, she had really friendly service and care from all the staff from the first day.
Unfortunately she passed away due to illness after 8 weeks, but it's good to know she was happy.

My sister is a Resident of this Care Home. Her care and support, is professionally done. She is well cared for, in every aspect of her designated care plan. My sister is happy and contented. She is always clean and presentable, whenever I visited her. The staff and management, does an excellent
job. Actually I felt like part of a family, whenever I visited. Everyone goes beyond the call of duty to ensure, satisfaction at every level, from the Cleaners to the front of house staff. I am kept updated, with any changes. My overall experience and satisfaction, shows that the service given, is of an high and outstanding level. I would recommend this Care Home to anyone, looking for a, caring, nurturing, friendly and helpful environment for their loved one.

My husband went to this care home in January 2025. The staff are amazing, from manager to the cleaner, each and every one will go the extra mile to help.
The manager has been very good and caring for an issue I had with my husband, this has thankfully now been resolved with much help from the manager.

My aunt moved into Ashwood in June 2024 and I have been delighted with the care she has received. The staff are kind and thoughtful, all they knew about her was that she liked cats and they printed her door name with a cat on it. My aunt's health has improved since being at Ashwood due to the care she
receives. I live a long way from Hayes and the staff keep me informed about her and make me feel very welcome when I visit.

From the very first day my aunt arrived at Ashwood Care Centre, she has been treated so very well. The staff are wonderful, thoughtful, caring and kind. The maintenance man sorted out her TV and painted the wall in her room and the activity lady made a beautiful name sign for her door. When my aunt
was unwell, the nursing staff called for her GP immediately and kept us fully informed of her progress. My aunt enjoyed all the varied activities (which I also joined in!) The ladies play music for her on their own phones when my aunt is feeling low. We are so thankful that my aunt is in this wonderful home. Amazing nursing care!

On the admission of my mother, what was so noticeable and reassuring was how attentive and welcoming the management and staff were. The nurses and caring staff are both knowledgeable and empathetic and have been very supportive in the care of my mother and have at times exceeded my expectations.

My mother came to Ashwood in July 2021 after my father died suddenly. She was very confused and difficult for the staff to cope with but they did a wonderful job with patience and kindness. I am so grateful to all the staff who do a great job with all the residents.

Mum has had very good treatment, she is always clean, her room is clean and smells fresh. The food is beautifully prepared and looks very healthy and wholesome. When we first began looking for a care home for my sister. I was disappointed with a number of homes. They seemed to be very cramped for space in both rooms and recreational areas. Both are good at Ashwood Care Centre. The staff at Ashwood are also very pleasant, always smiling and most helpful.

I thought I would give an update on my experience at Ashwood Care Centre As I visit my Aunt every day she has been a resident here for nearly a year now. They have made her happy and comfortable and my expectations have been exceeded in all levels of kindness by the staff at Ashwood. I have often joked

Mum has been a resident at Ashwood Care Centre since February 2022. We as a family are very grateful that Mum is in such a wonderful, caring environment. All the staff are so helpful and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble for them, which shows in the level of care and compassion she receives.
The good levels of communication regarding Mum's care I receive put me at ease. The manager and every member of staff clearly have Mum's best interests at heart at all times and everyone goes above and beyond for all of the residents. The home is continuously being cleaned and is spotless, and the meals are of a very high quality. I have sometimes visited when morning activities have taken place and it is wonderful to see Mum and the residents having fun whilst playing games, chatting and having a cuppa. All in all, we cannot thank all the staff enough for all that they do and would recommend Ashwood unreservedly.

My mum has been a resident for over 3 years. I have to say I am really happy with the service she has received. I can see my mum is being looked after well. She is clean, eats well, looks healthy and seems very happy. Obviously, her illness has gone downhill but she is happy and that's what's important
to our family. The care she receives is excellent. The cares treat her with the respect she deserves and look after her very very well. I know it is a very difficult job looking after someone with Alzheimer's - you really have to be someone special to do this job.
The carers at Ashwood do an amazing job! And we thank them very much!

I am very impressed with Ashwood Care Home. I have visited a neighbour/friend over the last two months. The care assistants are consistently attentive and very good, very pleasant and friendly. The home has very good cleaning staff which makes the home pleasant to visit. I have attended meal times and
these are very good and the dining room is very pleasant. I have had contact with the management who are obviously excellent because... a well-run business... 'comes from the top'. Well done everyone. I see on my visits that you are always very much on task. All staff appear to be happy to be at work. Creating a really nice atmosphere. Bravo Ashwood 10/10 from me... and I've seen quite a few care homes.

I couldn’t be happier with the level of care and compassion my nan receives at this home, every single staff member goes above and beyond for not only her, but us all as a family. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they love helping us create memories with not only my nan but all of the residents
