Mum was bedridden and unable to feed herself and needed a lot of care. She didn't speak English but all staff went extra mile using a translator to speak to her and attend to all her needs. Transition to care home was hart-breaking for us but kindness and warmth with which the carers and nurses treated my mum was very reassuring.
Through our daily visits we came to know the team who looked after mum and always treated her with care and respect. There always was someone on hand to help or discuss any issues.
The building is great with welcoming rooms for guests and residents' activities including terraced balcony and small vegetable garden.
The food was amazing.
We always felt very welcome and part of the Atfield House family when visiting mum, thank you to you all.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. I will gladly pass on your feedback to our team.
Where do I start! My father has been at Atfield House for a year and a half now and from the day he moved in to now the care he receives is incredible. Dad is very happy and so grateful for the care he receives and has become part of the furniture! I myself have a wonderful relationship with the staff who I have got to know really well. The team go above and beyond for my dad to the extent of holding an exhibition of his artwork which involved a huge number of paintings - a wonderful day for family and friends to come together and an event we will never forget - dad was in his element! The environment is very cosy, homely, welcoming and clean. The decision of dad having to become a care home resident wasn't easy and was unexpected but I couldn't wish for him to be in a better place. From the bottom of my heart I thank each and everyone at Atfield House for everything they do for dad and for us as a family. X

Visited a dear old friend and found him in good spirits. He was clean and his room was equally clean. It was nice to see his personal items displayed around him. He was fed lunch while we were there and the carer was most friendly and attentive.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. I will gladly pass on your feedback to our team.
The move from independent living to a care home for my father has been handled with sensitivity and compassion. The staff have been very accommodating in helping him to settle, and in turn, this has been reassuring for myself and the family.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. I will gladly pass on your feedback to our team.
Atfield House is a home from home. My mum is so well cared for here. All the staff know our names and we are always approached with a lovely greeting and a smile. Communication is constant and activities are amazing, honestly, so many activities and events going on, and so much thought goes into them. I really cannot praise Atfield House, managers and staff alike. We are all family here and I'm so glad we found Atfield House Isleworth.
Thank you for such an uplifting review. I think it says it all! You are right, we do all love what we do and it is great to have you as part of our Atfield family.
Moving from care at home to care in a nursing home can be a stressful time. Barchester Atfield House Care Home helped make this transition as smooth and comfortable as possible. The warm and friendly atmosphere, with members of staff interested in learning about my husband and his likes and dislikes, helped reassure me that he was in good hands. Both of us felt welcome and were able to relax. The staff members personalise their approach and manner so as to work as effectively as possible with you family member. They are kind and respectful and very attentive. They treat residents as individuals, not numbers, and this makes all the difference. It's a great comfort to know that the person you love is in competent, caring hands.

My friend was a resident in Barchester Atfield House Care Home for about six months in the year 2024. She was in the special unit for residents with dementia. I was very happy with the nursing care and activity care she received in the home. On the occasions when I visited, I was received with pleasant hospitality and I observed the staff working tirelessly with the residents. All the staff showed empathy and understanding to the care of the residents.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. I will gladly pass on your feedback to our team.
All the staff are very kind and helpful. The food is good and surroundings pleasant.
Atfield House appears well-run, organised and has a tranquil atmosphere. I am pleased my sister seems to be settling in.
It is our absolute pleasure to have to your sister stay with us, she settled in so well. Thank you for putting your trust in us and thank you for such a lovely review.
From the first visit to his passing, the care he received was second to none.
The support and information we were provided with were given in an incredibly supportive manner.
Every single member of staff, from the top down, made my family so welcome.
Thank you.
Barchester Atfield House Care Home provides a first rate home for those who have arrived in a vulnerable time in their life. It is friendly and peaceful in addition to offering care and support. Stimulating games help maintain mental wellbeing but above all else residents are safe, warm and secure.

The Care Home itself feels safe and secure and has a lovely feel to it; it is pleasantly decorated and everywhere is immaculately clean and tidy. The dining room is a lovely cosy area and the daily menus are displayed. The food is of a high standard and there is always a choice. I cannot praise the staff enough, especially the Nurses and Carers, who are not only kind and caring but are always polite and cheerful and treat the residents with respect.
Also at Atfield House, there are daily activities and events arranged for the residents so there is always something of interest going on. Physio is also available to those residents requiring it.

My mother-in-law had respite care in Atfield House in July for two weeks. The overall care she got there was excellent and she was very happy and settled in well there for her stay. Friends who called to see her said the staff and management were very caring and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending Atfield House very highly and would use it again for ongoing care.

From the moment of our first enquiries about a home for my mother, the staff at Barchester Atfield House Care Home could not have been more helpful. One admission, my mother was initially bewildered and disorientated and all the staff treated her (and us) with such care and compassion. They are kind and gentle with her and treat her with respect. They respond promptly to requests and are polite and efficient. The building is bright, airy and clean and visitors are welcomed. I feel that my mother is safe and comfortable and will be well cared for.
Thank you for choosing us to look after your mum. It has been lovely getting to know her. We will ensure the high standards continue.
A wonderful event put on for an art exhibition.

My 92-year-old mother was not able to return to her home following a fall and hospital admission. I looked at care homes nearer me and was instantly impressed on a visit to Barchester Atfield House Care Home, where the managers were very accommodating in meeting the family's needs. I am very impressed with the care and attention of a team of dedicated nurses and other people and feel more comfortable that my mum is being kept safe than with a live-in home carer. There is a very calm and peaceful air about the home. In addition, I am impressed by the efforts made to keep residents as active as they can in mind and body with a vast programme of varied activities.
Thank you for taking the time to review Atfield House and for your feedback, we are always looking to improve our service. We are pleased you are happy with your choice of home. I will pass your comments on to the team.
Staff are very patient and tolerant, very kind and understanding.
Activity host is very good at interpreting speech of the elderly.

Our aunt was in the care home seven months. She was well looked after. She was always clean. Food was excellent and her room always clean. Any needs or problems were immediately addressed and resolved. Staff are very caring and professional.

He is an accomplished senior care leader and CQC Registered Manager. He has extensive experience across residential, nursing, dementia and complex care services, with a strong record of improving care quality, regulatory compliance, workforce stability and resident experience.
In his previous position, Isaac achieved full occupancy, eliminated reliance on agency staffing and led the service to secure a Good CQC rating across all five domains.
Isaac believes exceptional care should be as individual as the person receiving it. He places great importance on knowing each resident’s life story, preferences and aspirations, ensuring that care is thoughtfully tailored and delivered with dignity, warmth and close attention to detail.
His vision is for Atfield House to provide an exceptional standard of care and hospitality. Upholding a welcoming and vibrant home where residents flourish, families feel informed and reassured. Where colleagues take pride in delivering the very best every day.

My name is Prachi, and I am proud to be the Deputy Manager at Atfield House. With over 14 years of experience in the care sector, I believe that every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are. This belief is at the heart of the care I provide every day.
Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to offering compassionate, person-centred support. I hold a European Certification in Essential Palliative Care, founded and coordinated by Princess Alice Hospice, which has strengthened my ability to support residents and their families with dignity, understanding, and sensitivity during some of life’s most challenging times.
In my current role, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel safe, respected, and truly at home. For me, caring for others is not just a profession; it is a privilege that I am honoured to uphold every day.
