Atfield House is a modern, purpose built home set on beautifully landscaped gardens. The care provider is located in Isleworth; opposite St. John's Park and close to Syon Park, Kew Gardens and the Thames Riverside.

The facility provide first-class nursing and residential care and also provide expert care for those with Dementia in their Memory Lane Community and have a facility for palliative care.

I needed post-operative care to learn to live without the use of my right arm. I needed to cope with dressing and undressing and personal care. All staff were excellent, thoughtful and helpful, just what I needed to build my confidence before going home. I enjoyed my interaction with them all. Lovely
garden to sit in and read. I would recommend this post-operative experience.

My friend was in your care for about 18 months. I was so impressed with all your staff and the quality of the food. The team were so caring, full of kindness and warmth. My friend never wanted to be in a home but with you all at Atfield House led by the manager, she felt safe and surrounded by love.

I made sporadic visits from February 2022 to May 2023 to visit my friend each time she was spotlessly clean and her hair looked nice. She loved the food but most of all the cheerful and patient care was wonderful. Despite never wanting to go in a home she was very happy there. An example of how homes

My mother was admitted initially for respite but the family hoped for permanent at 101 years of age. In our family, we have one person who has been a volunteer inspector for the Quality Care Commission, a retired Social Services Purchaser of services for the elderly and a matron for acute admissions.
All had reservations about using a care home, but we all agreed we have absolutely nothing to criticise in the care provided. Caring and helpful staff across all levels, wonderfully supportive when my mother sadly passed away. Highly recommended with our thanks.

We had a very pleasant year with Atfield House Care Home whilst my friend lived in the Memory Lane wing. The staff are professional, caring and approachable for conversation at all times. I appreciated the regular relatives meetings which were hosted quarterly, to give updates on conditions and activities
in the home, and allow relatives to raise questions and concerns.

My father has been at Barchester Atfield House Care Home for the past four months, I live in the United States. Sadly, he passed this past week, though I am thankful that I was able to spend his final days with him. The nurses, carers and reception have been absolutely magnificent. They kept me updated
throughout his time there, including using video chat. Towards the end, they made sure he was comfortable and not in any pain. I am very grateful to everyone at Atfield for the care and compassion they showed him, while ensuring we as a family were kept informed.

We found the Atfield House facility atmosphere and ambiance calm and efficient with a very high level of care for the service user and visiting family members.


The positive approach of the care staff at Atfield House enabled Mother to progress from being bed bound, on discharge from hospital, to

walking with a frame during her few weeks' stay.


We had a very positive experience and would be very happy to use Atfield House again.

The family's experience with Barchester Atfield House Care Home has been a positive one. My mum has been a resident in the Memory Care Unit for almost 5 years. The nursing and care staff are excellent and I trust them completely with my mum in their care. Working day in and day out with residents living
with dementia takes an enormous amount of patience and energy. The staff do an excellent job in the face of a very challenging environment. I'm grateful to them all and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to families requiring specialist care.

Our aunt entered Atfield House in November 2022, bedridden with very little ability to do anything. Through the care and attention she received whilst there, she has left there today a very different person t the one that entered. She is now able to be out of bed all day and manoeuvre herself in a wheelchair
around to enable to take part in activities. She can also now stand and get herself to the toilet and in and out of the wheelchair. She has left Atfield House to be with her husband in another care home. As a family, we are very grateful to Atfield House staff for their care and the attention she received whilst in their care.

The resident's son, partner and our two teenage grandchildren (and pet dog) visited this afternoon and we were all looked after like royalty. There were other events happening, which unfortunately we missed, but we were still welcomed and given our own room with coffee, tea and a selection of cakes.
Best of all, I had mentioned that two of the family only ate gluten-free food and the home provided a selection of gluten-free cakes for us, as well as regular cakes. Fantastic. I would also like to emphasise how very welcoming and keen to look after you everyone at the home is. Also how lovely the place looks. A really sweet Valentine's vibe indoors and colourful flowers and plants outside and indoors. It's a lovely place to visit and we all had a great time together. Thank you.

We were greeted by the assistant manager and taken to a nice lounge to complete the paperwork and admin. The staff were kind and attentive, everyone tried to make it like a home-from-home. Food was good and everywhere was clean. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

During my mothers 11 months stay at Atfield House she was extremely well cared for. The staff very quickly learned her likes and dislikes and what was very important to her and the family was always kept informed about her health and welfare. Her personal care was carried out in a very professional,
respectful and gentle way and hearing my mother laughing and chatting with the carers was reassuring. When she managed to join in the activities she really enjoyed herself. Her family and friends were always made to feel welcome when we visited and everyone at Atfield contributed to her well-being. When she started to slip away, she received end-of-life care which led to her peaceful end. The management and admin staff are very approachable and always willing to listen and address any problems. The regular meetings with relatives proved to be very useful in answering any questions and giving us details of forthcoming events and works within the home.

Hi, my name is Subin, and I am the General Manager here at Atfield House.
I transferred here from another Barchester Healthcare care home in Chippenham.
I joined Barchester in 2019 and I have been the General Manager of Atfield House Nursing Home since 2022, I am committed to ensuring the residents receive the very highest standard of care, and I am passionate about developing and leading my team in a way in which they are empowered to use their skills and knowledge for the wellbeing of those we support. I am so proud to receive the CQC inspection report with one outstanding rating under a responsive domain. My favourite part of the job is meeting all our residents and finding out about their life and backgrounds -I have met some really interesting people throughout my career and I think life history plays such a vital part in everyone’s care. My vision for Atfield House is to create a “ home away from home environment for our residents and be one big happy family.


I have over 14 years of experience in the care sector and I have recently completed my Step up programme with Warwick University. I really enjoy the daily challenges, team recruitment and always pushing and exceeding performance where I can. I also enjoy adding value, enhancing care and giving elder life purpose to enable residents to engage in a fulfilled life. lam passionate about delivering the levels and standards of care that I would expect for my own parents. My biggest achievement is Making a difference in people's lives throughout my career. I strive to continually develop which ensures that the individuals I care for experience the very best care and life enrichment in later life. Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2004

I started working in Atfield House in 2004 as a Carer, and was eventually promoted to General Nurse, Head of Unit and, finally, Deputy Manager. I consider Atfield to be one of the most welcoming and friendly homes. My role is to ensure that all residents receive the highest standard of care and always take into account personal wishes and requirements. I focus on delivering person-centred care to support residents in understanding the aging process, to maximize their independence, and create a safe, homely environment for everyone in the home. I offer support and guidance to all Nurses and Carers and work closely with external healthcare professionals.

I have been working at Atfield House since October 2022 as a Health Care Assistant. During this period of time, I have faced many challenges and hurdles in order to reach the position I am in today. I have been recently promoted to Head of Maintenance this wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible team that we have here. I enjoy my role as a Head of Maintenance it has boosted my confidence and inspires me to achieve more. My responsibilities are to ensure that all statutory requirements are up to date and that safety comes first for everyone at Atfield House.

I have been a member of the care team since 2020. In this time, I have learnt a lot. They are a great team to be part of and we all work very well together. Previously, I was a Chef and Manager of a Caribbean restaurant two very diverse roles for me. However one I enjoy a lot.
