I arrived to visit my friend, we had a coffee and a cake. Wonderfully inviting, clean and friendly. Superbly decorated and comfortable. Care team were absolutely lovely. Interested in my friend who said she felt valued like a princess. Definitely treats residents as individuals, I'm impressed greatly by the care here. Celebrating life is the motto here. In practice also.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is a pleasure looking after your friend and seeing her so content. The team look forward to seeing you next time you visit.
My husband was very anxious at being in a care home for the first time, would meet his needs. They always listened and took on board his worries and panic sometimes.
They showed concern for me as his carer. Lovely surroundings like a hotel.
Thank you for such an uplifting review. I think it says it all! You are right... We all love what we do and it was great to have you as part of our Atfield family.
Having used the care home for respite care in 2023, it was an easy decision to choose this home again when our mother needed more urgent permanent, 24-hour care. The home "pulled out all the stops" and found her a room the same day of our request.
Thank you very much for this review... it is so good to know this is how you feel. We are so fortunate to have continuity within our team which I think is key to everything.
Upon commencing my father's four weeks respite stay, the team made him feel at ease and were always willing to provide something different or change times of meals to suit him. I want to personally thank the deputy manager who has provided sound advice and support for his ongoing medical needs and we only hope he can make a full recovery.

Barchester Atfield House Care Home has been a good experience for my 88-year-old mother. They have been very caring following her stoke and the setting has enabled her to have a better experience in a caring environment. The activities have kept her mentally stimulated and the staff have been very caring.
Thank you for taking the time to review Atfield House and for your feedback, we are always looking to improve our service. We are pleased you are happy with your choice of home. I will pass your comments on to the team.
That's what stays in my mind.
Finding a suitable shelter, for an
Individual who life left behind.
Ever patient, kind and supportive,
Like a wrap-around shawl and a hug.
Dementia care that is calm and unfolding.
Happy people walk, talk in the gardens,
Ours to help if we can.
Up with the lark or night owl.
Say yes to a stay at this care home,
Every day, every year: no regrets.

In 2023 I had three short stays at Barchester Atfield House Care Home, Isleworth, so when it became necessary for me to have more care, I knew exactly where I'd go! It is a very welcoming, cheerful home with modern colours and art. Rooms are comfortable, there is a variety of activities, morning and afternoon, with professional guests at times. There are regular doctor and physio visits, hairdresser. I feel very safe here, so if you were looking for care of a loved one, you would have no worries at all to place them here. Staff always like to make sure you are happy. They are cheerful and run a very happy care home.

I was delighted to see my friend in such a lovely care home - the staff were very helpful and the cakes and tea were a yummy surprise. The home is spotlessly clean and odour-free. My friend is very happy being in this home.

There has been a significant development in the activities program. There were many events around Christmas that engaged the families, these included panto, carols, tea, trip to the local church for a nativity service. There has been similar engagement for Mother's Day and Easter. There is a varied and busy weekly program of activities that includes exercise, visits from schools and pet farms, trips to garden centres and parks.

Laundry is done very promptly and the home is clean.
The food is mostly good, though my mother has difficulties with eating. The staff are very attentive to me too, e.g. offering me tea and biscuits as well when I visit.
The home is safe and welcoming.

Mum stayed at Atfiled House, Isleworth at the beginning of March 2024 while my husband and I went on holiday. It was the first time we'd left her since she came to live with us 4 years ago. We were quite apprehensive, but we needn't have been. Mum really enjoyed herself and was well looked after. I will definitely use Atfield House again when we go on holiday. Thank you to all the staff!

I have been very impressed and grateful for the excellent, caring and professional care shown to my close friend over the last few weeks as her dementia has progressed. She has presented with challenging behaviour on many occasions. This has been dealt with empathy, love and thoughtfulness until she complied. My friend is able to be the person she is now but ensuring safety for herself and others which is something I value greatly and appreciate. The staff keep me fully updated at all times. The staff are excellent.

My father had a couple of falls at home and his mobility was poor. The local hospital said he was at risk of falls so should go to rest in a respite home. I searched and found Barchester Atfield House Care Home and I can honestly say the care my father received was of the highest standard. The staff and facilities at Atfield are amazing. Thank you to everyone who looked after my father.

In an ideal world, my father would not have been in any home for respite over Christmas and the New Year, but after a number of falls, this is what was needed. The atmosphere within Atfield House made the difficult situation much more bearable. The staff were consistently helpful, friendly and supportive. There were lots of activities to help pass the time and to help him come out much stronger, both physically and mentally, than when he arrived.

We have been very pleased with the care and attention that our friend has had in Atfield House. She became noticeably happier and more settled than she was before. The staff are the backbone of Atfield House and they have been excellent, all of them.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. I will gladly pass on your feedback to our team.
Have visited the home several times since our friend was admitted. On all visits, I have been met by courteous staff. The standard of cleanliness is very high. During four of my visits, I have attended events held by the home. Three of these events formed part of the home's activities and were conducted and supported extremely well. Our friend's adjustment to and acceptance of life in Atfield House is down to the fine standards mentioned above.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. I will gladly pass on your feedback to our team.
A nursing home is only as good as the management. At Atfield House it's extremely good. The staff are hardworking and accommodating. When entering there is no odour of old people and likewise in their rooms which means everything is spotless at all times. The food is as good as you would get at any first-class restaurant. I can't talk any higher about Atfield House. The residents are lucky to be in such a lovely place to spend their final days.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. I will gladly pass on your feedback to our team.

He is an accomplished senior care leader and CQC Registered Manager. He has extensive experience across residential, nursing, dementia and complex care services, with a strong record of improving care quality, regulatory compliance, workforce stability and resident experience.
In his previous position, Isaac achieved full occupancy, eliminated reliance on agency staffing and led the service to secure a Good CQC rating across all five domains.
Isaac believes exceptional care should be as individual as the person receiving it. He places great importance on knowing each resident’s life story, preferences and aspirations, ensuring that care is thoughtfully tailored and delivered with dignity, warmth and close attention to detail.
His vision is for Atfield House to provide an exceptional standard of care and hospitality. Upholding a welcoming and vibrant home where residents flourish, families feel informed and reassured. Where colleagues take pride in delivering the very best every day.

My name is Prachi, and I am proud to be the Deputy Manager at Atfield House. With over 14 years of experience in the care sector, I believe that every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are. This belief is at the heart of the care I provide every day.
Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to offering compassionate, person-centred support. I hold a European Certification in Essential Palliative Care, founded and coordinated by Princess Alice Hospice, which has strengthened my ability to support residents and their families with dignity, understanding, and sensitivity during some of life’s most challenging times.
In my current role, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel safe, respected, and truly at home. For me, caring for others is not just a profession; it is a privilege that I am honoured to uphold every day.
