Eltandia Hall Care Centre

The carers are so kind and caring to her. They really love her and always let me know of any issues. They call the GP if needed and let me know. Her wellbeing is always clean and tidy. She is very happy at Eltandia and feels safe and happy with the people who care for her. I would like to request new furniture in her room as some of the draws are broken.

Very friendly staff. Attention to detail, considering the current climate with Covid issues; they are extremely helpful and caring.

Dad arrived very poorly with a very pad pressure sore and had had sepsis from the hospital. The nurses and staff have done a brilliant job; the sore is so much better. Also, Dad is always clean and tidy. They are doing their best to encourage him to eat as well.

My mother was very special to me, I loved her dearly, so I needed to find a place where she would receive that special care. My mum, myself and my son arrived at Eltandia nursing home on Christmas Eve in December 2020 and she sadly passed away in February 2021. The welcome we received from the first moment was amazing, the communication was clear, with patience, the staff felt my anxiety about leaving my mum. I felt from the beginning to the end, support was all through care, understanding and love. Everyone made me feel 100% sure that mum would be taken care of, that made me felt 100% satisfied. Thank you for your patience, communication, honesty and understanding the lot. Thank you all so much.

Eltandia Hall is superbly run. Management is extremely helpful. The staff - you could not find fault whatsoever. Polite. extremely helpful and kind. The food was excellent and well presented. The family were delighted with Eltandia Hall - well done!

Mum has been in Eltandia Hall for nearly three years. I have found all the staff to be very kind and caring. A professional management team ensures that the home is clean and tidy. Not only have they looked after mum but my 93-year-old father was treated as part of the family. Thank you.

My nan has been a resident at Eltandia Hall for over 15-years, as a result, the staff have come to know her very well. Myself and my family are always made to feel welcome by the staff and other residents. My nan seems very happy at Eltandia Hall, and we could not fault the care provided by all the staff, over the years.

I cannot recommend Eltandia enough. Mum and all our family were made to feel so welcome from the day Mum moved in until the day she passed away. Nothing was too much trouble and the palliative care that was given was with genuine love and kindness. Thank you to everyone who works there, for making Mum's last days comfortable and safe.

My Father had advanced dementia. We were delighted with the overall presentation of Eltandia. From the meeting with the assistant manager who answered every possible question with professionalism and honesty. Our appreciation of the standard of care on the ward from every single member of staff surpassed our expectations. They are all truly caring and considerate to the patient and their family in difficult circumstances. The cleanliness of the ward, the rooms and the patients is excellent. Even down to the little touches in the dining room to make it feel like a restaurant. My chats with the manager and the receptionist and finance manager show that all the staff care and are easy to deal with. If you have a loved elderly person that you are struggling to decide a destination for please consider this home. It is fantastic at a difficult time.

My dad is being looked after very well. Cannot fault the staff in any way.

My grandmother has been here since August 2018 and has enjoyed the environment and the company of all the friendly staff members very much. She does not speak English but is still generally able to communicate her needs and is always taken good care of when she needs something. I would highly recommend this care provider to others in need of similar treatment.

The care coordinator is knowledgeable, caring and passionate when doing her job; very reliable unit.

Staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. The refurbishments are of a very high standard. Eltandia Hall is now much improved and well worth the money. My relative was looked after very nicely.

Time will tell if there will be greater stability in the future. I was very unhappy that the current manager did not inform me of a fee increase. This was very disappointing and I would have expected better of the new owners.

I wish that my mother-in-law could have a hairdresser more often.
