My name is Jade Shea, I will oversee the running of the 48-bed care home and will be responsible for a team of 70 staff. Prior to starting in this position as a General Manager at Hugh Myddelton, I had 17 years of experience in a care setting. I have been a Care Home Manager for 12 years specialising in nursing care, living with dementia and elderly frail residents. I have a nursing background and have completed my Leadership and management in health and social care. Caring is innate to me and my work ethos is to deliver a high-quality care service and to always be mindful of my workforce to be working as a team in order to progress.

Joining the Team at Hugh Myddelton as a General Manager, I felt welcome by everyone.

Hugh Myddelton has a warmth and good atmosphere. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know the team and the residents. I’m looking forward to managing this home continuing to provide high-quality care and being part of the community.

My name is Cynthia and I joined Barchester in 2012 as an HCA in 2019 I became a Nurse. I am a dedicated nurse who inspires others by providing first-class care for residents. In 2022, I have been promoted as a Deputy Manager and my role is to make sure every resident's needs are met and our team is updated with the latest clinical developments. I love spending time with residents and it makes me happy knowing that they are all safe and comfortable.
