The team of dedicated staff aim to maintain each resident's dignity and provide a high quality of life, in a calm and personalised environment. The staff strive to understand each resident’s individual needs and build their own personal relationship with them. With comprehensive care assessments, regular monitoring and reviews, staff strive to provide the highest standard of care delivery.
The dedicated activity co-ordinators run regular varied programmes to suit all tastes. Whether it's learning about the internet, visiting local sites or simply a walk, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Staff make every effort to help residents continue with their own hobbies and interests or to take up something new. Reminiscence therapy is supported by Wi-Fi technology. Residents can, and are encouraged to, contact their relatives through either Skype or WhatsApp and they can also learn computer skills, including how to use the internet and e-mail.
The Willows Nursing Home host weekly Yoga 'keep-fit' sessions and musical entertainment is provided by professional artists throughout the year.
Meals are freshly prepared in-house, paying special attention to each resident’s dietary requirements.
