The Willows is a very friendly & inviting nursing home. My uncle appeal to be well looked after. Staff is friendly at all times. From the outside, the place looks dated, although a new floor with rooms are build, looking inviting with large windows. At the end of the day, its all about the staff, which
is excellent. The only comment (coming from my uncle) is that the meals are not very varied. So maybe something to look into & offer european dishes.

My mother who was suffering wth late stage dementia was admitted to Seaview in late October last year when my father who was her carer was also diagnosed with cognitive impairment and admitted to hospital and then a care home himself. Sadly my mother passed away on the 8th of June but I have nothing
but praise and thanks for all the staff who cared and looked after her during her time at Seaview they made her more comfortable.

I wanted to express my gratitude to all the staff who were on duty on 8.2.25; the day our mum died. Mum had been increasingly poorly, and on chat day it was clear things weren't good. My sisters and I were in with Mum. The nurse was in touch with the Dr. and kept us informed. The carers kept coming
in to check on Mum and bring as much-needed tea. We were given the space to be with Mam during her feral hours, but know support was there id needed. When Mum died the staff continued to treat her with kindness and dignity; and us with hugs, kind words and compassion.

Since my mum has been at The Willows I have had no concerns regarding her care. Every time I come to see her she is safe, clean and appears well looked after. Meals are cooked in-house which is warm and welcoming. The manager is always very proactive, and involved very much in the day-to-day running
of the nursing home.

Each time I visit my Nan the staff have gone above and beyond the care and attention they give her is superb. We recently celebrated her birthday at Seaview Nursing Home and the staff could not have been kinder or lovelier, they made space for us in the dining room, organised tea and coffee and a cake
which included a mini cake for the two other family members attending. They were on hand when we needed letting in and out, all in all we can't thank them enough.

Dene Place is a very happy (and efficient) home, where my father has been happily settled since June. The staff are all friendly and caring - they even greet my often muddy dog with enthusiasm when he comes along for a visit. The food is freshly cooked and delicious - for the first time in a while,
my dad is really enjoying his food. The rooms are all spotless. The team is run by the very professional, knowledgeable and friendly manager who sets the tone for a welcoming environment. She not only knows all the residents by name but also their individualities. I highly recommend Dene Place.
Reply from David Mclean, Customer Service Adviser at Dene Place Care HomeThank you for your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your father in our care. It is always nice to hear words like "friendly and caring" being used to describe our care. We will certainly pass your comments on to the manager.
