Sundridge Court Nursing and Care Home in Bromley provides residential, nursing and dementia care of the very highest standard for up to 28 elderly people, including trial stays, short stays, convalescent care and long-term care for individuals or couples. A relatively small purpose built nursing home located in the attractive Sundridge Park residential area, the home has been designed to provide the highest standards of care and facilities, Sundridge Court is tastefully decorated and furnished to create a gracious, elegant and comfortable environment.

The home provides 28 single ensuite bedrooms which are furnished to a high standard, featuring direct dial telephones, colour televisions, nurse call systems and individual heating controls, to enable residents to adjust their room temperature to their own requirements. Residents are most welcome to bring small items of furniture and personal possessions to enable them to personalise their rooms, easing the transition of moving into a care home.

Within Sundridge Court are a number of elegant communal rooms, including a beautiful sitting room, dining room and conservatory, which enjoys views onto the terraces and across the attractive landscaped gardens. Life at Sundridge Court offers variety and promotes independence. A dedicated Health and Wellbeing Coordinator ensures that there is always something to do to suit all tastes and all staff are specially trained to support residents living with dementia.

The staff here are exceptionally kind and caring and provided excellent care to my mother for the last eighteen months of her life. She was always treated with dignity and respect and she felt happy and safe. I felt very confident that she was valued as an individual. I would recommend it unreservedly.
The family always felt welcome whenever we visited and included in the many events for residents.

My friend has "blossomed" since she has been in your care. Staff have gone the extra mile for her, and it s very touching.
We attended the garden party and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. All the staff on and off duty couldn't do enough for us.

Sundridge is a small nursing home where the staff really care about their residents. They go out of their way to provide highly professional and compassionate ongoing and end-of-life care. Their communications were clear and sensitive, especially from the nursing staff. They did everything to make my
husband's time in the nursing home easier for him and the last weeks as peaceful as possible. I cannot fault their kindness; thank you for everything you did.

My mother has been a resident for a few months now, and although she has found the transition from home to Sundridge Court hard, the staff have been attentive, encouraging and kind. It is a great relief to her family to know that the care is of such a high standard and that we can go back to being daughters
and not carers.

I went into this care home recently, and I was very impressed with everything about it. The staff were very welcoming and polite, and I could see that all the residents were happy. I personally went to see a friend who was very happy about being there, and I could see that she was so much better than
when I last saw her, so I think the staff are doing a fine job.

First visit to see a friend. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They were really helpful, and we saw our friend in the garden, which was lovely. We were also offered refreshments, which were very welcome. The home looked clean and tidy and well run. The staff helped my friend in her wheelchair and were
excellent. Did not visit her room, so could not comment, but the home looks efficient. I only wish my mum, who was in a home, went into this one.

The staff are a real gem. The staff are warm and friendly and take concerns over care plans seriously. A small home too, so the staff know all the patient's likes and dislikes, etc. The facilities could do with a little refresh, but a very minor criticism.

My father spent 14 months as a resident at Sundridge Court. His care was always professional and compassionate. Our family visits were always welcomed, and honest feedback about dad's well-being was honestly given. Sadly Dad finally had to give in to his condition and passed away. His final hours were
painless, peaceful and dignified. Staff were very supportive during a very difficult time.

My mother has only been at Sundridge Court a few months, but I have found the staff to be kind, considerate and quite loving. There is a friendly, happy atmosphere, and the care is excellent.

When looking around at homes, we found Sundridge Court the friendliest. The building has a good design and a friendly atmosphere. We are impressed with the care she is receiving. My mother settled in quickly and is very happy with her room and happy to be a resident at Sundridge Court.

My father was at Sundridge Court for six months. During that time, he was looked after very well. The staff were always friendly and caring, and his room was comfortable. In the last few weeks of his life, the nursing staff were professional and compassionate. Because of Covid restrictions, it was more
difficult, but everyone went out of their way to allow me to spend time with my father in the last few days, but I am particularly appreciative that a nurse was with him at the end, giving him comfort.

Always a friendly welcome and a warm, safe environment for the residents. Myself and my two sisters could always visit at any time, until, sadly, Covid-19 struck, and we were restricted severely. However, we were still accommodated whenever we were allowed. My mother was at Sundridge Court for almost
three and a half years and was treated kindly and with respect by all the staff during her stay.

Overall, the care is good, as is the food. Sadly I've had very little sleep due to some of the other residents having server dementia and shout and scream constantly at night, not their fault, of course, but haven't slept well since the start of June when I came to Sundridge. I wasn't aware of the dementia
aspect. I was hurried out of the hospital to clear the bed, so Sundridge Court was a shock to the system, between screaming and loud alarms going off.

Cannot fault the care.
Staff are approachable, happy, cheerful, always willing to help. They made my mothers stay a really good experience and looked after her with dignity and care. The best recommendation was that my mother said she wouldn't leave.

My experience of this nursing home as the son of a long term resident is very positive. The standard of care and support provided is very high and appears to be very well managed. The rooms and common areas seem clean and well maintained, and the staff are always helpful and courteous.

Job Title: Home Manager

I originally trained as a midwife which was my passion for 7 years. Since then I have spent almost three decades working as a staff nurse and building up my experience in the care industry. I began work at Sundridge Court as a Nurse, working my way up to Deputy Manager and now Home Manager which I am very proud of.


I take the role of caring for our residents and ensuring that their needs are met very seriously. Making sure our care team are happy and fully trained in order to offer a safe and happy home is a priority. I really enjoy interacting with the residents and their relatives and friends on a daily basis, listening to the stories that residents have to tell and making sure they are they are included in their care plans.


Over the last few years I am proud to have been involved in building Sundridge Court to be the warm and caring home it is now with the help of my colleagues, ensuring it is a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led home.
