Sundridge Court Nursing and Care Home in Bromley provides residential, nursing and dementia care of the very highest standard for up to 28 elderly people, including trial stays, short stays, convalescent care and long-term care for individuals or couples. A relatively small purpose built nursing home located in the attractive Sundridge Park residential area, the home has been designed to provide the highest standards of care and facilities, Sundridge Court is tastefully decorated and furnished to create a gracious, elegant and comfortable environment.

The home provides 28 single ensuite bedrooms which are furnished to a high standard, featuring direct dial telephones, colour televisions, nurse call systems and individual heating controls, to enable residents to adjust their room temperature to their own requirements. Residents are most welcome to bring small items of furniture and personal possessions to enable them to personalise their rooms, easing the transition of moving into a care home.

Within Sundridge Court are a number of elegant communal rooms, including a beautiful sitting room, dining room and conservatory, which enjoys views onto the terraces and across the attractive landscaped gardens. Life at Sundridge Court offers variety and promotes independence. A dedicated Health and Wellbeing Coordinator ensures that there is always something to do to suit all tastes and all staff are specially trained to support residents living with dementia.

My mother-in-law was in the nursing home for 2 weeks for respite following a hospital stay. The home was warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. She enjoyed her stay. Thank you.

My mother has now been a resident for 10 months and we recognise and appreciate the efforts and strategies taken to ease what was a very difficult transition for her. The manager is always welcoming and helpful. We very much appreciate the small gestures from some individual staff members such as an
empathetic ear when we may be struggling with the very difficult evening times with my mother. Not before time were faulty equipment repaired/replaced recently and we very much hope that delays will not happen in the future.

We were warmly welcomed when my husband was admitted to the care home. The room he was given was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The décor of the home is 'homely' and the facilities eg. large conservatory and gazebos outside are good.


When my husband was admitted, he was not eating, but with

patience and care, the staff encouraged and helped him to eat and enjoy his meals. The entertainment for residents was very good, for example, visiting singers, days out, games and puzzles in the conservatory, TV to watch. The manager is very 'hands-on' and approachable. The administrator and nurses are very efficient. They, and almost all other staff are very caring, patient and hard working.

My husband was admitted from hospital after a fall. He has mobility problems and cancer of the oesophagus. He was immediately settled and has had no falls during the six months at the home. His special dietary needs are well met and he is always well dressed and groomed. The staff are always helpful
and approachable.

Sundridge Court have been very helpful during my wife's stay.
The food is very good and the staff are always helpful and her room is very clean, staff listen and always try to make her comfortable.
Dementia is a very trying illness, but the staff cope very well.

My mother has lived at Sundridge Court for just over three years. She is very well cared for both physically and emotionally. The staff, including the manager, are always available to deal with any concerns. If I was unhappy with this establishment I would have moved mum elsewhere. I am happy but more
to the point so is my mother.

Sundridge Court Care Home is a small home of 27 residents and has a welcoming and homely feel. The staff are welcoming and get to know visiting family members and will tell you now the residents of your family member are doing. The food is well thought out and any requirements or preferences catered
for. Entertainment and trips out are varied and well thought out. The location of the home is down a quiet residential road which means there is no heavy traffic noise, and in the garden bird song can be hear.

I'm filling this form in for my sister who lives at Sundridge Court, unfortunately she cannot fill in this as she cannot write or speak or move so she has to have everything done for her. She is well cared for and seems very happy as much as she can be. I am very happy with the quality of care which
she receives here, the staff work very hard and are all very pleasant and so are management staff.

My nana had stayed here over the last 2 years. The level of care has been outstanding. Her room was lovely and clean and well looked after. My nan was not only well looked after .

My Nan's room is quite basic but comfy and clean. They offered her a bigger room but she likes to be near the front door so she can see life.
The staff are very friendly. There is very good security to the home. All together a very positive experience.

If I had to select a home for my on mum then I would chose here. It is warm, friendly with a happy atmosphere. It always feels happy and you can see the people there are treated with care and respect.


No one ever things that they will have to make this decision. It is a clean well presented home

that you can see has a very dedicated team. It is nice to see that people are really cared for. I go in and help at events there - as my wife runs it.

Job Title: Home Manager

I originally trained as a midwife which was my passion for 7 years. Since then I have spent almost three decades working as a staff nurse and building up my experience in the care industry. I began work at Sundridge Court as a Nurse, working my way up to Deputy Manager and now Home Manager which I am very proud of.


I take the role of caring for our residents and ensuring that their needs are met very seriously. Making sure our care team are happy and fully trained in order to offer a safe and happy home is a priority. I really enjoy interacting with the residents and their relatives and friends on a daily basis, listening to the stories that residents have to tell and making sure they are they are included in their care plans.


Over the last few years I am proud to have been involved in building Sundridge Court to be the warm and caring home it is now with the help of my colleagues, ensuring it is a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led home.
