Sundridge Court Nursing and Care Home in Bromley provides residential, nursing and dementia care of the very highest standard for up to 28 elderly people, including trial stays, short stays, convalescent care and long-term care for individuals or couples. A relatively small purpose built nursing home located in the attractive Sundridge Park residential area, the home has been designed to provide the highest standards of care and facilities, Sundridge Court is tastefully decorated and furnished to create a gracious, elegant and comfortable environment.

The home provides 28 single ensuite bedrooms which are furnished to a high standard, featuring direct dial telephones, colour televisions, nurse call systems and individual heating controls, to enable residents to adjust their room temperature to their own requirements. Residents are most welcome to bring small items of furniture and personal possessions to enable them to personalise their rooms, easing the transition of moving into a care home.

Within Sundridge Court are a number of elegant communal rooms, including a beautiful sitting room, dining room and conservatory, which enjoys views onto the terraces and across the attractive landscaped gardens. Life at Sundridge Court offers variety and promotes independence. A dedicated Health and Wellbeing Coordinator ensures that there is always something to do to suit all tastes and all staff are specially trained to support residents living with dementia.

We, as a family, cannot speak highly enough of Sundridge Court Nursing Home and its staff. From the very first day, Mum arrived there a severe dementia resident, and the difficulties and challenges staff faced with her, they always had her best interests at heart and were never anything other than friendly
and warm. In pre-Covid times, our regular visits were always welcome, and during the time of restrictions, they always did everything they possibly could to maintain contact - including FaceTime calls with Mum by their side. The care and attention to detail were second to none, and the respect and kindness shown to us as a family by the team at Sundridge Court in Mum's final days, and in the days following her passing, will never be forgotten. We will forever be grateful to them all.

My dad was not in Sundridge Court for long but they were truly wonderful, caring and very kind to me his daughter. Absolutely following government guidelines, but realising my dad was at the end of his life, and made it very easy for me to cope with a terrible time in my life! I couldn't be more grateful
for their kind words and thoughtful actions. Right from the top, the manager, to the bottom, the cleaners, they have been kind, caring and actually couldn't do enough for my dad and me.

Both the facilities and members of staff were excellent. My brother received the most caring and loving attention during his brief stay with you.

Welcoming and personal vare provided. My mum was treated as an induvial personality and there were lots of laughter an kind support to get her through her day. Lovely food and activities provided. Fantastic contact via WhatsApp during COVID-19 to see each other and also photos in the care home newsletter.

Manager is very good as are all the other members of staff. Everyone is very friendly and there appears to be a genuine atmosphere of caring in the home. The rooms are to a good standard.

Unfortunately, my mother only had six weeks at the nursing home as she passed away on the 3rd March. Her care home closed so we had to find a home very quickly. In the short time that my mum was there, she was looked after and cared for in a most dignified way. The staff were very caring and patient
with her, right to the end. Everyone made us feel very welcome. I am so glad my mum spent her last days there.

The home has a welcoming homely feel. It's clean and tidy. Mum had a nice room. The staff are friendly and kind. They treated mum with care and respect and were always very welcoming to family and friends who visited her.

The care and commitment my father has received is amazing. Nothing is too much for any of the staff from the manager and admin, the clinical team, carers, domestic team and the kitchen staff. Everyone has welcomed us and we were part of the family from the moment we walked in. Excellent food and family
can also eat with their loved ones. I highly recommend Sundridge Court.

The home has been fantastic with a consistent team of staff from management, clinical, care, cleaning and chefs. All got to know my mum and show the help and kind consideration that her family do. The size and number of service users per staff makes this conducive. The minor negative is a little bit
tired in places and slight lack of space for family privacy in social areas.

My father was transferred to Sundridge Court after being in hospital for several weeks. He is settling in well and the staff have made him very comfortable and have been very welcoming. He has a lovely room and the facilities are excellent. We can visit at any time.

I feel very fortunate that my mum spent some time here. All the staff were incredibly kind, thoughtful and professional. The level of care each patient gets is incredible and is tailored to their needs. The place is made to feel like a home and family and friends of the resident are made to feel at

My mother has been happy at Sundridge., since she came here after a long stay in hospital. She settled in very well, the staff are all very caring and she recovered quickly from the illness she had whilst in hospital. The care she receives is so good, she has a lovely bedroom.

It's a clean, calm and friendly environment for the residents. The meals are outstanding and good variety. Although my grandad doesn't always partake, there are a variety of activities to join in including an annual bbq which is good fun. A singer gets everyone singing and tap along. The staff are kind
and attentive. I would highly recommend this care home to take care of anyone's family member.

I have to say, my friend had been in another care home previous to this and it wasn't very good. Since my friend has lived here he has improved mentally and has been treated so well. All of the staff are professional and friendly, you always see the same staff which means they do not rely on agency.

Job Title: Home Manager

I originally trained as a midwife which was my passion for 7 years. Since then I have spent almost three decades working as a staff nurse and building up my experience in the care industry. I began work at Sundridge Court as a Nurse, working my way up to Deputy Manager and now Home Manager which I am very proud of.


I take the role of caring for our residents and ensuring that their needs are met very seriously. Making sure our care team are happy and fully trained in order to offer a safe and happy home is a priority. I really enjoy interacting with the residents and their relatives and friends on a daily basis, listening to the stories that residents have to tell and making sure they are they are included in their care plans.


Over the last few years I am proud to have been involved in building Sundridge Court to be the warm and caring home it is now with the help of my colleagues, ensuring it is a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led home.
