From the moment my mother was admitted we had a top-rate experience. Nothing was too much trouble. One nurse, in particular, was excellent, all carers were superb. Overall we as a family were very pleased.

My father who died on Monday 22nd July and was at Beaumont Park for just a couple of weeks what an amazing place. The staff (especially the manager) are professional and so kind. This is the first experience our family has had of residential care. Cannot fault Beaumont Park. (Just one point, maybe a
TV could be in each room. My mother donated the one we bought for use at Beaumont Park).
Reply from Colleen Brothers, Home Manager at Beaumont Park Care HomeThank you for your very kind response, it is always so appreciated by all the team to know we are providing amazing care. We will certainly look at your suggestion and your donation is so very kind.

24 hours care good. Looked after well and encouraged to do things in the home, like planning a library for other residents. Also, I've got my own little garden area to look after, join in the activities.

My dad was very happy at Beaumont and I know he was well looked after by all staff. My family are happy with dad's care right to the end. The staff made me and my family welcome at all times, even at 3:00 in the morning when my sister arrived from Spain to see my dad.
The staff called and my mum whenever
needed to because we asked to be called at any time of the day or night because we needed to know about dad at all times.

My mother was in the home and was treated with respect and dignity. The staff were all very kind to all members of the family. Sadly my mother passed away. Everyone was very kind and very supportive. It gives me great comfort that my mother couldn't have been in a better place. Highly recommended.

In the short time that my aunt has been a resident. I can see that she is being well cared for. It takes a lot of money to run a care home and the staff and facilities are very good. The only downside is that her actual room is rather small in comparison to some of the others, but as it was the last
one available it is adequate for her needs.

My grandmother came to the Beaumont in August 2016. In that time she has been very well looked after and so as a family, it has made the transition from home to care home a very gentle and non-upsetting move, for all concerned. Although grandma is unable to take part in many of the activities, she is
made to feel still very involved. Her care is always good and we are very happy.

Mother-in-law seems to be settled at Beaumont Park when she is able she is encouraged to join in activities. The staff have got to know her well and understand her needs. When we leave sometimes she gets upset, this is dealt with caring and sympathy and the parting is soon forgotten. Well done to all!

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.671)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.671) out of 10 for Beaumont Park Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 42 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 42 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.671 for Beaumont Park Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (346 Excellents x 5) + (133 Goods x 4) + (13 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 493 Ratings = 4.671
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beaumont Park Care Home is based on 42 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 46 registered maximum number of service users is 9.2, which has been reached with 42 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

I love it when everyone calls my name, gives me pats, belly rubs, and the occasional sneaky treat; it makes my tail wag even faster! I bring unconditional love and comfort to the residents, wagging my tail, nuzzling their hands, and making them smile. Many enjoy stroking my fur, which helps them feel calm and relaxed. I’m well-trained, loved by my owners, and always on my best behaviour when I’m on shift.
