In the short time that my aunt has been a resident. I can see that she is being well cared for. It takes a lot of money to run a care home and the staff and facilities are very good. The only downside is that her actual room is rather small in comparison to some of the others, but as it was the last one available it is adequate for her needs.

My grandmother came to the Beaumont in August 2016. In that time she has been very well looked after and so as a family, it has made the transition from home to care home a very gentle and non-upsetting move, for all concerned. Although grandma is unable to take part in many of the activities, she is made to feel still very involved. Her care is always good and we are very happy.

My mother is being kept warm and well fed at the Beaumont Nursing Home, encouraged to take part socially. Knowing that she is safe is hugely important to us as a family. High praise to all staff members. Many thanks.

Mother-in-law seems to be settled at Beaumont Park when she is able she is encouraged to join in activities. The staff have got to know her well and understand her needs. When we leave sometimes she gets upset, this is dealt with caring and sympathy and the parting is soon forgotten. Well done to all!

My mother-in-law was only at Beaumont Park for the last five weeks of her life but her care there was excellent. She regularly commented on how kind the staff were. We felt she was in the right place for her end of life.

When the palliative care nurse told us there were no spaces available in the hospice, a nursing home was suggested to me. From the time my daughter and I walked through Beaumont's door, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were so helpful and went beyond expectation, in order to facilitate our request to move my mum for a peaceful end to her life. Thank you is not enough but Thank you!

Unexpectedly, we were given the news that my nan was end of life, and palliative care was to be put in place, a real shock for the whole family. Nan was left on a ward in the hospital with the family 24 hours trying to care, we had no privacy and didn't feel nan had the comfort needed. We came to Beaumont on a Saturday where we spoke to the manager who was so helpful and she got in touch with another person, who was also exceptional who went out of her way to support our family and get nan moved. Even on a sunday, within minutes on nan being moved to Beaumont, she was comfortable and more like our nan again. Thank you so much for everything.

My Nan was unexpectantly given the news that an operation was not possible and that she would require palliative care. My Sister spoke to someone in Beaumont who went out of her way to help her speak to a manager, who then went above and beyond to support us getting my Nan moved to Beaumont as soon as possible meaning she is closer to the family. Thank you so much to the team here.

When my Mother first had to go into Beaumont Park it had a lovely atmosphere, there was an adequate level of staff to ensure good quality of care and support as required. The majority of staff were caring and consistent. However, over the last year or so things have gone from bad to worse. I have had several issues with inadequate staffing levels, medication, assisted feeding and drinking and the amount of time Mum is left in bed and left unsupported. At the moment there is a temporary manager, two of the main nurses have left, carers have left and therefore they are having to use agency staff which is certainly not ideal! Beaumont Park is one of the most expensive homes in the area and I feel my Mother is getting second-rate care. There is a high turnover of staff which affects the continuity of care for all residents, not just my mother! It has also come to my attention that the staff morale is very low, which does affect the care.

There never seems enough staff around to care for the residents. Some of the care staff are not friendly, do not smile, talk or even say hello. All the nurses in navy uniforms are extremely busy but are very good. There is never any management on site to talk to. My aunt has been at this home for nearly two years and I am constantly complaining regarding her care. Surely a care home should be care, not just a business?

Beaumont Park was the last home for my much-loved father. We wanted to make sure that he was in a home where his individual needs were met, where he was safe and where he felt comfortable. Having considered a number of homes, we decided on Beaumont Park and couldn't have been more pleased. The home is extremely well run by a superb team of dedicated staff who made my father feel special and cared for his every need.

In addition to this, the team had a sense of fun and went over and above duty to provide a comfortable and loving environment for his last days.

Beaumont is full of the most caring, thoughtful, understanding and loving people (i.e. staff) all under one roof.
To my mum, making a heartbreaking outcome to me and my family so much easier to come to terms with.

Nothing is too much trouble. My mum thinks the world of them all and so do we.

My mother went into residential care in October 2016. I can only say that what just about makes it bearable is the kindness and treatment I've seen from all of the staff. The fondness they have for my mother is evident and equally her fondness for them.

Activities is only lower marking due to the fact my mother declines to join in a lot so I don't know if I've seen them all.
