New Meppershall care home came under new management in June 2015, and they have been absolutely delighted with the response to their re-launch of the home and the launch of their cutting-edge, purpose-built dementia wing.

Each resident has the luxury of living in a newly refurbished building with delightful landscaped gardens nestled in the beautiful countryside. New Meppershall is a wonderful, tranquil building set in a truly unique environment.

My Mother was transferred here after her previous care home went out of business. Well, they say blessings come in many packages. From day one my mother and all members of the family were treated with nothing but kindness, care and consideration for all our needs.
The rooms are well decorated and
well equipped for each persons needs and requirements.
My father visited my mother daily and was equally cared for, with refreshments and a cooked lunch if he required one. New Meppershall, is a well run, very clean and active place to be a resident in, if I ever needed nursing care, here would be my first choice.

I am very satisfied with the care both day and night. The staff are excellent and very caring. The home is well kept and clean and tidy. My wife is very settled in New Meppershall and she is stimulated by the individual care and activities. Whilst recognising the difficulties, greater oversight of personal

I found the facilities well kept: both rooms and common areas were clean and organized. The staff were friendly and attentive to the needs of the residents. From the interactions I observed, it was evident that the staff knew the subtle needs of each individual. The staff also interacted among themselves

The staff at Meppershall demonstrates acts of love each day in caring for and keeping the residents happy and engaged. This is especially poignant since my uncle who lives there, has no living relatives in the UK and we are so far away. Yet, through social media, we are able to see and participate in
the daily activities between residents and staff. Our uncle recently celebrated his 92nd birthday and we were part of the celebrations via a video phone call; as if we were right there face to face. Meppershell far exceeded our expectations. Keep up the good work!

This is the first time we have used this care home, and certainly wished we had found it before. My husband really enjoyed his stay and is happy to go back for his respite. Staff excellent, food excellent, very clean and nothing is too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend.

My wife was transferred to this care home from hospital in a very poorly and confused condition. The staff were very understanding and respectful. Due to the long battle she had endured she, unfortunately, was only at this care home from Friday to the following Wednesday when she passed away. In the
time she was there all members of staff were considerate, respectful, helpful and compassionate, not only toward my wife but to myself and other family members when visiting. Even at my wife's funeral, a member of staff attended to pay her respects.

Mum went to New Meppershall for a period of rehabilitation, from hospital following a fall at home. The aim was to get mum safe and confident with her new frame to be able to come back home.
Mum had never experienced a Care home before, but she settled after a day or two with the staff encouragement.
Mum really enjoyed the share lounges and the company of the other residents. The activities were fun and she loved the mother and toddler group who use the facility.
The staff were very good and nothing was too much trouble for them for the whole of mums 2-week stay.
We have achieved mums aim and she is now back home. Many thanks to.

My sister has been a resident of New Meppershall Care Home since February 2017 when she had suddenly become unable to live independently. There was little choice, so I was relieved and delighted to find New Meppershall. The home is clean and well cared for and the staff are professional, friendly and
helpful. They make my sister and her visitors feel welcome and show affection towards her and other residents. Although my sister's dementia makes her difficult, the carers treat her with patience and respect. She moved to a different room earlier this year giving her more space and her own en suite and she seems happy there. Activities for the residents have seemed a bit variable but I am pleased that a new team is being formed to improve the issue. New Meppershall is not the most convenient place for me to visit as I am in the next county, but I have found nothing to compare with this home which would be more accessible.

My husband was admitted to Meppershall care home on the 25th January 2019. Sadly he passed away on the 8th February 2019. The care and love and support he received were beyond excellent. From the moment he was helped into bed he relaxed and was happy.
Myself and our family were looked after excellently
and always made to feel welcome.
I would highly recommend this home to anyone as superb.

After my father suffered another stoke he went here after he was transferred from hospital. On every visit the place and staff were amazing, always clean and tidy and staff very cheerful and helpful.


I truly believe if it wasn't for the staff there my father wouldn't be with us today, he is almost

back to 100% of his old self.

Very modern and spacious care home. Both of my parents are well looked after. Mum is totally dependent on care for everything including eating and drinking. She is treated with the utmost respect and staff are always willing to spend time with her and make her smile. Dad is well looked after but still
tries to be a little too independent. He is at risk of falling and staff are very aware of this and keep a close eye on him. I feel totally confident with the care they both receive. As I live quite a distance away it is comforting to know they are both being looked after so well. I find all staff, carers, nurses, cleaners and office staff very approachable and willing to help. Nothing is too much trouble.

The nursing and overall care my mother is receiving at New Meppershall is exemplary. The staff are totally professional, friendly, warm and truly caring.


My mum now feels not only very comfortable but completely safe with the right level of nursing she requires for her condition. Her room and the

facilities are superb and visitors are made to feel very welcome too. We could not have found a better safe haven for her.

After viewing a number of care homes we were relieved to find Meppershall, it was clean and bright, the decor and furniture is refreshingly modern. The staff are friendly and are very interactive with their residents family and friends. They should also pride themselves on their activities, so much
thought goes into the resident's needs and likes. Dad was terrified on his first day (heartbreaking) but the next day I found him sitting in the lounge relaxed and smiling - I was amazed - and from that day forward he never mentioned leaving or going home which proved he felt safe. They took great care of his personal hygiene and well-being, they would contact me immediately with any concerns. If I had any issues or wanted any changes with Dads care it would be actioned without delay. They were so supportive to the family when Dad moved from Dementia to Nursing. I will be forever grateful for the care, attention, love and kindness the staff gave my Dad and also for the support they gave us. Thank You.
