Since Mum moved into Beacher Hall for end-of-life care, the care she has received has been absolutely outstanding. The nurses and management take great care of her, meaning family members are reassured when we are not there ourselves. Beacher Hall has a lovely activities rota, and the staff keep it spotless at all times. I am beyond grateful for the first-class care that Mum is receiving. It has been a huge help during what has been an extremely difficult and emotional time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Beacher Hall.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time and it is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. We hope Beacher Hall Care Home did everything possible to make the transition as easy...
All the staff are friendly, helpful and professional and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
There is a full and varied activity program (although my wife chooses not to use it very much) and occasional events that relatives can join in with. The food is very good.
It is a great shame that my wife needs the care that she does but, given that, we couldn't ask for a better place for her to be.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. We are happy to hear that both yourself and your wife are so content with the care that's provided for her at Beacher Hall care home, and that even if the activities aren't for her, it's a good range. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make her stay as comfortable as possible.
Excellent care and activities are provided for residents in a very caring atmosphere. All staff and volunteers are very caring and supportive at the Home - thoroughly recommended as a choice of care home.
Thank you for your kind words. We are pleased to hear that you are impressed with the high standard of care provided at Beacher Hall Care Home and that you feel welcome at our home. It is always nice to hear words like “Caring” and “Supportive” being used to describe our care. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
Most of the time I'm busy with activities, socialising. Plenty of people to talk to, lots of personalities.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so pleased to hear that you are enjoying our fun activities and socialising at Beacher Hall Care Home. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease in our care. We hope to continue providing you with the best possible care.
I cannot speak more highly of the care that has been given to my husband. All managers and staff behave in such a beautiful way in dealing with my husband. His dementia has progressively worsened, my poor husband suffers with vascular dementia and non hodgkin's lymphoma cancer. The bouts of chemo have helped the growth shrink slightly in his bowel. My husband has endured so much these last few months and I am saddened he is now in a care facility. However, I feel that at Beacher Hall Care Home my husband is extremely well cared for, safe from all harm and as I say the level of care is without doubt truly wonderful.
Thank you for your kind words. Though it has been a difficult time for both yourself and your Husband, we are so pleased to hear you can feel at ease knowing he is safe and so well cared for by our staff. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make his stay as comfortable as possible.
I've been living here for nearly ten years. The staff are always happy, friendly and approachable. All my needs are catered for. Nurses work really nard. Physio is brilliant. When I come out of a physio session, I feel euphoric! I like activities and outings a lot. I enjoy the food here too. I like a lot of the different cultural dishes the kitchen provides.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear words like “happy, friendly and approachable” being used to describe our care and we are very happy to hear you can feel at ease in our care. We hope to continue providing you with the best possible care and thank you for choosing Beacher Hall Care Home for your stay.
What a fabulous home for people to live and recuperate. Staff that work as a team with a friendly welcome great food and nothing seems to much trouble. Even during a refurb there is still the same amount of care and activities on offer and residents needs are put first. I am sure it will all look great when the refurbishment is finished.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Again we will not be going back but would recommend the staff and physio. May be ideal for short-term respite or for residents needing more 24/7 care.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are sorry to hear you felt like Beacher Hall was not the right setting for your Mum’s care but are pleased to hear you couldn’t fault the care our staff provided. We will discuss your feedback with the home’s manager to help them continually improve their service.
A good care home, friendly staff and a low turnover of staff. Currently refurbishing all the rooms- shows a long-term commitment by Bupa to this sector.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your loved one in our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by the lovely ladies, the home is relaxed and is currently having a huge makeover covering the whole building, the residents even get to choose their own room colour scheme.

We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care and we are looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Since I first came here, every one of the carers has been caring, compassionate and always ready to listen to any troubles that I might have here. Can't fault them in any way. The activities team work so hard in thinking up new things that we can do, they accomplish that very well. Always listen to you and are so patient and kind to everyone.
Thank you for your review. It is so nice to hear you describe our staff as caring, compassionate and always ready to listen. Thank you for choosing us for your care.
A very good care home. Safe, clean and activities for patients. 80% of staff are good, 5% are not particularly good or motivated and 15% are excellent, helpful, confident, pleasant and efficient. In all, a very good care home, is expensive but I guess all such homes are expensive in today's world. Food is reasonable and varied, sometimes not good and sometimes very good. Good physiotherapy department with very capable staff. Variety of recreational activities.
Thank you for your feedback. I will certainly pass your comments about the meals and staff on to our management team, please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The staff in the home are very helpful in helping me with my mobility and day-to-day care. The food is very good and lots to choose from. I am happy being here and I would recommend this care home.
Thank you for your review. We are so happy to hear you would recommend the home and that you enjoy the meals provided.
Clothes have been left on overnight on more than one occasion. Rooms in poor condition. The physio department is excellent. Nursing staff, caring at times, short staffed. Standards have deteriorated in the past few years. More one-to-one time spent with my sister.
Thank you for your feedback. We have genuine regard for all of our residents, and we are sure to maintain high standards for them to live in a clean and safe environment. Our resident's safety is paramount, so we will certainly discuss your feedback with the homes management team to be sure we are continually improving our service.
I've stayed at Beachjer Hall for eight years and I love it here. The staff are kind, respectful and very hardworking. Always answer to my needs. The nurses and carers are extremely helpful and I feel very safe around the home. The manageress and office staff have everything under control and look after everyone well. Physiotherapy and activities keep me busy and there is always something interesting to do every day! The food is home-made and tasty. You can order what ever you like to eat! The maintenance team are very helpful if things go wrong. I would definitely recommend Beacher Hall to anyone who is in need of a care home (rehabilitation centre).
Thank you for your kind words. We are happy to hear you feel like a part of our Beacher Hall family. It is always nice to hear from residents feeling like they are cared for and looked after. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for choosing Beacher Hall for your stay.
The staff are all very caring and understand both the residents' and relatives' needs. The resident always comes first.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so happy that you can see how we provide "person first" care for your loved one whilst also supporting the wider family. Thank you again for your kind words.
The secret of this place - priceless team spirit, including employees in all departments. involved when my life partner 67 years and 5 months moved in. I joined him after seven years on my own, since his death in May 2017. Deaf, daft and indifferent, hearing aid replacements are in the pipeline. In my childhood had to do should - second childhood don't do should anymore. At ninety, activities of absolutely no interest, then I never was a joiner in, no competitive spirit.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments, It is lovely to hear that you are happy and settled in our home. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
My brother arrived recently at Beacher Hall after a 15 week period of hospitalisation that had upset him and uprooted him from his previous stable care-in-community life. The staff at Beacher Hall have treated him with great kindness and compassion, making him feel at home very quickly; his regained comfort and contentment are evident to us. His complex medical and dietary needs are understood and well-managed by the team, who have been very open and ensure that we, his family, are kept aware of his condition. It is a home that appears to combine great professionalism with a deep caring commitment in all its staff. We are delighted that he has become a resident there.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so happy to hear how the welcome and special care that everyone at Beacher Hall provided helped your brother to settle quickly and feel at home with us. Thank you again for taking the time to write this.
I can wholeheartedly say Beacher Hall has a home from home atmosphere! The reception staff, carers, nurses, therapists, management and everybody else within Beacher Hall take pride in their roles of care. They go above and beyond. There's always activities to keep residents entertained and the food is home-cooked wholesome meals! I would highly recommend this home to anyone who needs a safe, friendly, caring environment for their loved ones. Thank you Beacher Hall for all your hard work.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, It is nice to hear that you feel our home has a homely feel to it and go above and beyond. Thank you for your recommendation.
The staff at Beacher Hall worked hard to make my father comfortable in the last weeks and months of his life. It wasn't always easy but they listened to our comments and feedback and ultimately he agreed he was happy at Beecher Hall. They were also helpful to my mother who visited daily.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are sorry for your loss please accept our condolences. We are glad to have helped you and your family through such a difficult time. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your Father received the best possible care.

Meet the Team (2)

I have been working at Beacher Hall for the last fifteen years in different departments and I’ve made many friends over the years with people I work with and look after.
I joined the Activities team seven years ago and currently I’m a lead activity coordinator. I feel passionate about what I do and especially the ability to positively change and enhance residents lives here at Beacher Hall.
Every day is different and brings new challenges but accomplishing these challenges makes it a rewarding experience for my team, my colleagues and most importantly the residents.
I love being there for our residents on a daily basis and being able to help them experience exciting and fulfilling moments of their lives. Nothing compares to seeing the joy and pure happiness in residents eyes when you know what you do matters so much to them.
We are all like family here and that is what makes Beacher Hall and its people a unity and a great place to be.

I have worked in care for more than sixteen years, I began my career as a Care Assistant and worked my way up to Senior Care Assistant and I am currently working as an activity coordinator.
My passion lies with making sure the residents are happy with the activities which I and my colleagues provide. Beacher Hall is a warm and friendly place to be, and we are one big happy family.
