My mother has been a resident for a few months now and has had the best time ever. She loves the activities and parties and is always saying how good the care is. Whenever I visit the welcome is always incredible and the home is always lively and welcoming.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is so good to hear that your Mum is having the best time ever with us at Beacher Hall. Thank you again for your kindness.
My wife went into Beacher Hall for palliative care. All staff were fantastic, kind, thoughtful and caring. Although her stay was short, my family and I were happy she was being given the best care possible at all times, day and night.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are glad to hear that the staff were all thoughtful and kind during what must have been a very difficult time for you all. Thank you for choosing us to care for your Wife.
My 93-year-old mother was at Beacher Hall for two years until her recent death. She has previously had a difficult time at another nursing home, but the staff at Beacher Hall properly engaged with her and resolved many of her problems. During her residence there, I was impressed at the care and compassion the staff showed towards her. The restrictions over Covid have been difficult, but my Mother's welfare was at the forefront of any decision made over this difficult time. I have no hesitation in recommending this nursing home to friends.
Thank you for your kind words. It is always so lovely to hear that our staff genuinely do care with such compassion. We are happy to know that your Mum's previous issues have now all been resolved in our care. Thank you for your recommendation.
The home is very good. The staff are very helpful and kind. My mother who is 99 is very happy here. I cannot fault anything the care they give her is remarkable.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It is so lovely to hear you feel Your Mother's care is remarkable. I will certainly pass your kind words on to the whole team.
My friend had a short stay in the home. Even though I was unable to visit the staff were always very willing to arrange iPad calls and very accommodating with any requests. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to others.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such lovely comments.
My husband's stay was a short one. He was very poorly after a long spell in hospital and Beacher Hall was the best place for him. He received 1st class nursing care 24 hours by very caring nurses and care workers. They interacted with him (he was non-verbal) and nothing was too much trouble. He had lots of complex needs and they treated him with compassion and dignity. He died at Beacher Hall peacefully and this is how we wanted it to be.
We are very sorry about your loss. We we did everything possible to help you and your family through such a difficult time.
Made to feel welcome. Staff helpful, friendly. Our daughter has cerebral palsy, with quadruple spasticity, is a permanent wheelchair user and needs help 24/7. She can speak in her words, 'it is like my second home' and she is able to take part in everything. Thanks to the wonderful staff, she can't wait to go back.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your daughter in our care.
My husband lived at Beacher Hall for 2 and a half years before moving home last week. We could not have found a better care home for him. The management are kind, supportive, efficient and enabling, the Reception Team give a great welcome one and all, the Nurses are experienced, thoughtful, kind and compassionate. The Carers are always laughing and smiling, helpful and thorough. Housekeeping provides clean, well-ironed laundry and keeps Beacher Hall sparkling and orderly along with the Maintenance team. Everyone makes time to say hello and the place feels like home. The food is greatly enjoyed by the residents who aren’t peg fed. The Activities team plan entertainments morning and afternoon, 1-2-1 and outings. Physio was a key department for us. They are utterly brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble or effort and they work wonders with the residents’ rehab. We really felt that Beacher Hall was our home. Also, it never smelt like a care home! We are so very grateful to all who have given their time and care to us.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We appreciate all your kind words. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help in the future.
I have been visiting my friend at Beacher Hall for 2 years now, and cannot recommend the home highly enough.
If I ever need a care home for myself then I would be insisting on going to Beacher Hall and nowhere else.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely comments.
My daughter's three adult children visit her - work and time permitting, usually every other month.
We are all very pleased with the care and kindness shown by the staff towards my daughter and also to us, whenever we visit and I cannot thank them enough.
Thank you for your praise. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your daughter in our care.
I had heard of Beacher Hall via the local hospital who recommended it. From what they were saying, I had very high expectations and I wasn't disappointed!
Everything in the home is better than you could have expected and the care provided is outstanding.
If you are looking for a home for a loved one, look no further.
The Nurses are always really helpful, and always smiling. the care staff know all of the residents really well and treat them like family.
The food is delicious and plenty of it, I was encouraged to have lunch with my relative whenever I wanted and always loved the food.
The Physiotherapy team work miracles in their gym, I think they are amazing and a jewel in the home's crown.
The activities are always fun, and everyone is encouraged to join in. for those unable to, they do 1:1 time with them and an activity of their choice which was lovely to see.
the home is always clean and tidy, with the staff spending time to make it look as good as possible.
the home manager and deputy are lovely, really approachable and will make time to talk about any issues you have.
I couldn't recommend the home highly enough.

I stayed at Beacher Hall for just over a week's convalescence following major coronary surgery. The staff were attentive and friendly. The place was clean and warm. Wholesome meals were provided and laundry was willingly done. There were no restrictions on visitors, for which there is a nice large lounge.
Highly recommend for anyone in need of a safe, caring, nursing environment.
I find the place clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful and nice to me. Maintenance issues I had have been sorted out but overall I am happy with the home.

My son received excellent care and support from this nursing home for approximately 5 months. The residents are kept clean and well fed and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The residents are closely watched through the night and attention is immediate if there is a problem. The medical care was superb and the staff were extremely efficient but also compassionate which is so important. Entertainment is laid on daily and residents were taken out of their rooms regularly to interact with the other residents. Beacher Hall is definitely a home from home and I would recommend it to everyone. My son died in March 2018 and I am so impressed with what they do at Beacher Hall I'm hoping to go up once a week (I live 60 miles away) to help in any way that I can due to staff shortages.
Thank you for sharing your review with us. I'm pleased that you were happy with Beacher Hall and the care there and I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
I found that everything that I needed to get through has been provided. I'm happy with the service and staff are amazing. I shall be leaving shortly due to my improved health. I came to Beacher Hall in a wheelchair unable to walk and I will leave on my both feet. Just to say a massive thank you to everyone at Beacher Hall!
Thank you for your kind words about Beacher Hall and the staff there and I'm pleased to hear about your progress!
Absolutely fabulous people. The girls are polite, caring, and understanding. They can work wonders. And know just how far to push everyone. I would recommend anyone who visits here to try the unit out.
Thank you girls, you gave me back my independence.
Thank you for your review and kind words. It is lovely to hear that physio has worked wonders for you and that you have now got your independence back.

Meet the Team (2)

I have been working at Beacher Hall for the last fifteen years in different departments and I’ve made many friends over the years with people I work with and look after.
I joined the Activities team seven years ago and currently I’m a lead activity coordinator. I feel passionate about what I do and especially the ability to positively change and enhance residents lives here at Beacher Hall.
Every day is different and brings new challenges but accomplishing these challenges makes it a rewarding experience for my team, my colleagues and most importantly the residents.
I love being there for our residents on a daily basis and being able to help them experience exciting and fulfilling moments of their lives. Nothing compares to seeing the joy and pure happiness in residents eyes when you know what you do matters so much to them.
We are all like family here and that is what makes Beacher Hall and its people a unity and a great place to be.

I have worked in care for more than sixteen years, I began my career as a Care Assistant and worked my way up to Senior Care Assistant and I am currently working as an activity coordinator.
My passion lies with making sure the residents are happy with the activities which I and my colleagues provide. Beacher Hall is a warm and friendly place to be, and we are one big happy family.
