Originally from the Philippines, I am a nurse by profession and I’ve been working in the care sector for more that 20 years, since moving to the UK. I continually try to enhance my knowledge and skills as a nurse. As a Home Manager, it allows me to make a difference across the wider community.

I prioritise spending meaningful time with them, integrating myself as a familiar presence rather than just an authority figure, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. I sit next to them and find the time to check the whole home’s environment and work closely with my wonderful team here at Dormy. For me, caregiving is a heartfelt commitment to providing the level of care I would want for my own family.
