As a volunteer working in the shop once a week, my experience of Lord Harris Court is very encouraging. It is a very happy place and peaceful in the lovely gardens. All concerns are quickly sorted out and residents seem really happy.

My mother has been a resident here for the last eight years and has been happy and content to be here.
Now that her dementia has increased she remains as content as ever.
I constantly observe being treated with care, kindness and tenderness and the staff are always able to take the time she needs.
The staff also spend time to ensure that she is able to communicate as well as she is able.

Overall I rate this home as excellent.

Excellent care home. Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lots and a wide range of activities. Excellent food, although could be hotter when taken in rooms.
Sometimes a bit slow in responding to assistance calls from rooms.
Rooms a bit on the small side.

Despite minor criticisms, would strongly recommend.

I think it's excellent, nothing is 100 % but I am very happy. My mother is 92 she has been there two years, she finds the care very good and her carers are very attentive. We visit regularly and are pleased with what we see.

The fact that my mother has lived happily at Lord Harris Court for 7 1/2 years is testament in itself to the excellent care she has received during this time.
She is now approaching the end of her life and all the staff treat her with great dignity and respect.

I have no hesitation in recommending this care home.

Ever since being in the care home, all help has been given to a very high standard by carers and nursing staff. The management has also helped in every way so as to make administration easy and clear to understand. In general, very pleased with the way that the home is run

My wife has been in the care home for just over six months and has always been treated with the utmost kindness and highest professional care.
All the staff through carers, nurses and administration have shown the highest respect not only to my wife but to me as well so we are both happy in our respective way.

My observations above are based on the fact that I am here all day every day.

Very pleased with the care and respect of residents by all concerned. Any problems or niggles seem to be dealt with respectfully and diplomatically. Impressed with the contact between residents/family and the management of day to day issues as well as long-term plans. A good variety of activities are always available to the residents to enhance their well-being and health.

This care home is a very happy home. The staff are caring and helpful. We celebrate dates that refer to Great Britain and most of the holiday times which make a lot of fun. We are taken out quite often to local garden centres and at Christmas to a popular shopping centre.
