Tithe Farm Care Home

My father has been in Tithe Farm Care Home since March 2021. He is very well looked after and the staff enjoy chatting and joking with him each day. He is very comfortable in Tithe Farm and it has become his true home. It is a pleasure to see him relaxed and enjoying life. With my thanks to all the staff who care for my father fo well.

I wanted to write this review even though my mum has only been at Tithe Farm Care Home for three weeks as I have been overwhelmed by the care and kindness shown to both my mum and I. She moved from a care home in another county so she could be nearer family. I felt at home from the first visit and this has continued. The manager is exceptional and so are her staff who are so caring and kind. I would not hesitate to recommend Tithe Farm Care Home.

From management to carers the whole team did a fantastic job of looking after my father at the final months of his life. He was always kept comfortable and happy we could fault the team. The home itself is set in lovely grounds very peaceful and homely. We would recommend the home to everyone

Since my father has been a resident at Tithe Farm Care Home. 2.5 years. I have been very happy and thankful for the care, support and the love they give him. Tithe Farm is run very efficiently and all the staff work as a team caring for all the residents. They have just given my dad the most wonderful birthday party which is a memory I will keep forever.

Dad was here for just over two years. The staff were excellent, kind, caring and compassionate. They really brought him out of his shell when he first arrived (after my mum's death) and treated him with respect and dignity in his last few months.

Our mother has recently become a resident at Tithe Farm Care Home and we are really delighted with the care she is receiving. Although only a few weeks in, we are full of praise for the staff who are not only kind and caring but enthusiastic and engaging. Tithe Farm feels like a home rather than an institution with its lovely listed building and extensive grounds. We cannot speak highly enough of the manager. From the beginning she both guided and reassured us. It is clear that she wants the very best for the residents and sets high standards for herself and the wider team. We chose Tithe Farm because it felt like a kind and happy place for mum to be, and we are so glad that we did.

My auntie was at Tithe Far from November 2022 to st June 2023 when she sadly passed away. During her time there, the wonderful team were amazing. They cared for my auntie in such a loving and affectionate way. They always spent the time to talk to her, have a laugh and comfort her. My auntie was very happy at Tithe Farm and I cannot fault them on anything. I would recommend this care home to anybody. Also, the manager and another member of staff were particularly kind and helpful to me. We even celebrated my aunties80th Birthday in the garden.

Upon entering Tithe Farm Care Home, you feel like you are in a family atmosphere. Everybody is more than willing to help in any way. The staff and management are excellent and always on hand to help. The gardens are kept to a high standard and enabling residents to sit outside and enjoy the views.

My mother was cared for with gentleness and consideration and always with her dignity, as a person in her own right. She was always well cared for in her personal care. The staff created a happy atmosphere and developed trusting relationships with my mum. We were always informed as to her care and well-being. Tithe Farm management is interactive and concerned that family/loved ones are involved in the ongoing lives of their resident loved ones. Food was plentiful and varied and with good choices. My mum was happy during the time of her care. Well done!

My father is looked after and cared for extremely well. He is also treated with dignity, which is so important to myself and my family. The staff are all very friendly, patient and professional. They are very understanding of my dads condition and provide help and support of the highest level. The home is in a beautiful setting, the rooms are kept clean and tidy, and the level of communication provided by the manager, the nursing staff and the office staff is first class. Thank you to everyone at Tithe Farm Care Home for the care, compassion and professionalism, which is extended to my father every day.

I found the nursing home very homely and I could see old people happy and very well looked after. I live in Spain and I find it more caring and relaxed for the people.

Mother is 97 years old. She arrived at Tithe Farm Care Home in very poor health and very feeble. Now, the change in condition is remarkable. She has much-improved health. Mobility is still an issue but mental clarity is much improved. As a family, we feel that the improvement is all down to the fantastic care provided by the home.

The home constantly reviews the way they interact with my relative as their state of mind and health deteriorates. I am kept informed of all issues and interventions. They genuinely care for their residents and I am so pleased my relative has a place there.

I could not fault the care for my father at Tithe Farm Care Home. What a friendly, caring and happy place. It is extremely well run. The staff are always smiling, positive and helpful. The food was varied and excellent. I was kept totally informed of any healthcare concerns. There was a lovely program of social events which enabled all the family to be involved. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

To sum up this care home = friendly staff, caring and nothing is too much trouble, helpful, but most of all, they look after the residents. Everyone is reached with respect. For me, it is a fantastic place and I recommend to everyone.

Dad has shown remarkable progress since arriving in July. The staff have been extremely helpful and attentive.

We had a very good visit to check the home and a room was available quickly to meet our needs. Mum settled well after just one week. We enjoyed a great family day/event. The whole team have been very kind and caring. Mum enjoys the activities and company. Thanks.

From the moment I contacted the home regarding a place for my Mother to today, seventeen months later, I have been extremely impressed with The Farm. The manager through to all members of staff, including laundry, administration, maintenance and of course carers, have displayed kindness, professionalism, humour and understanding. My Mother can be difficult, but they all deal with her with great empathy.

My grandad is cared for by the lovely staff. The food looks and smells delicious. My grandad is always clean and his room is always clean. Thank you.
