The “home from home” feel at Kents Hill is created by the dedicated staff who have been selected not only for their professional ability but also for their commitment to truly making a difference for the people in their care.
Resident’s rooms are spacious and feature en suite facilities. The communal areas are at the centre of what makes Kents Hill a real community whether it be at mealtimes or when enjoying activities. There are no fixed visiting hours so friends and family can come and see residents at any time.
Activities and day trips are an integral part of the resident’s well being. The activities coordinators encourage and help residents continue with existing interests and also introduce new hobbies.
The minibus is used frequently to take residents on day trips near and a little further from the Home. The trips are very popular and recently, days out to Woburn Safari Park, Middleton Hall, Frosts Garden Centre, Stoke Goldington Small Gauge Railway and Linslade Canal have been greatly enjoyed.
The dining experience at Kents Hill boasts fine home cooking by a professional Chef who has created a menu alongside the residents to reflect the interests and tastes of all.
Respite care at Kents Hill is very popular and enables those wishing to experience what the Home has to offer before making a full commitment.
In October 2015, 15 brand new luxury suites opened along with a new lounge, library, salon and bistro all adding to the style and comfort the home offers and in 2018 a refurbishment of the communal areas and one side of the nursing suite took place.

A brilliant care home that is providing my relative with great care. All the staff are friendly and help with everything needed. I cannot ask for more from a care home and it makes me feel happy my relative is in such good hands.

Hello, I am Alexandra Mora, a Care Practitioner at Kents Hill. I joined the home in 2016 and have grown within the team. I strive for excellence and enjoy reading and developing my knowledge in medical industry, enabling me to develop my skills. When I am not interacting with residents and expanding my knowledge medically, I enjoy pursuing my interest in architecture, visiting and learning about the history behind buildings, as well as visiting historical sites.

I’m Sharon, I started at Kents Hill Care Home 18 years ago and haven’t looked back since. I joined the Care Home as a Domestic Assistant and gradually worked up to becoming the Laundry Manager. I have a keen eye for detail and strive for perfection of cleanliness. I thoroughly enjoy my job role, especially being able to interact with all the residents on a daily basis. Since becoming the Laundry Manager and Head of Housekeeping, I have built up a strong, admirable, hardworking committed team.
