My mother came to Milton Count after a three week period in hospital. She was unable to go home, due to lack of mobility. The care from the staff and nurses was excellent and although very poorly, Mum's short time in the home was a very enjoyable one. The carers and management all come and gave us their condolences when we emptied the room after she passed which was much appreciated.

Since Mum has been at Milton Court, she has settled in well and the carers have made time to get to know her. She is happy with her room, which she now considers home surrounded by her own personal things. She receives good care although an extra carer on the suite she is on would take the pressure off the busy workload.

Wonderful care home with a friendly vibe. There is always so much to do and the events staff seem to go out of their way to make sure there is something for everyone. I was shocked to hear about how much they do. It's so much more than daily bingo at this place.

The friendly care administered to my mother and the help and advice given to me has been beyond my expectations. The crucial factor for me is that Mother says she feels safe and cared for. A slight kick in the teeth for us as her previous full-time carers was when she said: "At least I am looked after here."

I had no other dealings with care homes so was very unsure as to what we could expect. I have to say from the very first conversation to the current time the staff have all been so helpful, friendly and have a really caring attitude. I have no negative things to say about this home and am so grateful that we found Milton Court.

When the need came to source a care home for my mother I contacted Milton Court and from our first contact to her moving in the service and care shown has been outstanding. Every member of staff has treated my mother with care and consideration and she settled into her new home very quickly. She is now happy and well cared for. The rooms are very comfortable and I'm told the food is great! There is a constant range of activities to get involved with and the initial overall response from my mother is that there is a nice atmosphere within the home. You certainly pick up on the fact that it's a place where residents are happy and that is really down to the excellent staff. Placing a loved one into care is a massive decision and I have not for one second doubted that this is the right place for my mother to live. If you are looking for a care home where your loved one will be treated with care and respect I would recommend paying Milton Court a visit.

My uncle was a nursing resident for 2 weeks respite. As our mother (his sister) was already a resident we knew the standard of care was very high. The staff treated my uncle with the utmost respect and kindness. He was involved in many of the activities and was able to do things he has never done before (bowling, scrabble). Every single member of the team made him welcome and cared for his every need, Excellence from everyone every day.

We used Milton Court for my mother for 5 weeks support after a serious fall. The efficiency and administration of the support package were excellent. Her stay was comfortable, care was very good and the food and facilities were excellent. The only issue was that my mother's neck brace was not changed as often as required, but that was the only concern. Staff are caring and compassionate.

My 93 year old aunt was admitted to Milton Court some two years ago following a stroke. She was unable to live independently after it and the family had to make a decision to sell her house and admit her to a care home. Being unfamiliar with the area, we spent a great deal of time researching the available care homes. This one with its memory care floor and dedicated staff fitted what was needed for my aunt's well-being and although we had to wait for a place for a few weeks we haven't regretted the decision. The home passes 'the sniff test' with flying colours, has a good reputation among health professionals and is recommended by other residents' relatives. The staff are well-trained and compassionate and treat the residents with dignity and understanding. The catering, hairdressing and podiatry facilities are excellent as are the activities provided throughout the year and the residents are encouraged to be involved as much as possible. Many thanks to everyone at Milton Court.

Milton Court made my mother extremely welcome from the outset. Her carers inspired confidence and were more than kind. My mother absolutely loved the people who looked after her and they became her extended family, nothing was too much trouble for them.

The home put on a variety of activities and visits which my mother thoroughly enjoyed and she truly had a new lease of life when she went there at a time when her body was beginning to fail her.

As a home from home, my mother had a bright and sunny comfortable room with a quiet aspect. The food was outstanding and although tiny, my mother took full advantage of it all. When my mother became more needy, every type of equipment was acquired to improve her quality of life.

I would like to thank everyone there (you know who you are) for making an elderly lady very happy and as comfortable as possible in the last phase of her life.

My mother came to Milton Court from hospital initially for respite care and then became a resident. The care she received was exceptional from all of the staff.
Nothing was ever too much trouble and there was always a member of staff available to deal with any issues.

My mother always praised the food which I was surprised at as she is normally very fussy. There is a very friendly atmosphere and I was particularly impressed with the relationship the staff had with the residents.

What a breath of air Milton Court has been after some previous bad experiences in other homes.

The staff are so patient and compassionate, everything is kept spotless throughout the home. The activities team are exceptional and the equipment all works. We are impressed to be greeted by everyone working in the home. Love the lounge facilities and the light and airy feel of the rooms.

Both my father and my mother-in-law were residents of Milton Court, the former for five months and the latter for two. As a family, we were very pleased with both the courtesy and respect shown to both parents and family alike. The nursing staff kept us fully up to date with day to day changes and any medical procedures that were required and front office staff were always outgoing and informative. Both parents have now passed away, but the understanding of all the staff was very much appreciated.
