So lucky to have found you. From the moment I met the home manager I just knew this was going to be a lovely place. Your staff were so kind and their care of my mum was outstanding. The home had such a lovely atmosphere, happy smiley relatives, patients and staff. I will be forever grateful for making my mum so comfortable and cared for. Best wishes to you all.

Our dad was sadly only here for a limited time for end of life care but Julie and her team were compassionate, gentle and so very caring to dad and our family from the week we chose Westbury Grange to the day he passed. Dad's needs were extremely complex, he required regular mouth care and repositioning as well as hourly checks, as well as being PEG fed- none of this was a problem and the nursing team and Julie made us feel welcome and comfortable and made dad feel safe, nothing was ever too much of an ask. They all cared very deeply and we felt extremely relieved we had chosen Westbury Grange. Thank you for making dad so very comfortable- your kindness and compassion at such a difficult time for our family will never be forgotten. We would recommend Westbury Grange to anyone, they have the kindest hearts.

My daughter is a resident in Westbury Grange. She suffers from a rare and incurable disease of the immune system and as a result is profoundly handicapped, both physically and mentally. She is also totally blind, suffers from epilepsy and is PEG fed. Her needs are extremely complex and unpredictable. The Westbury Grange team of nurses and carers successfully cope with the many and varied challenges she presents in a calm and loving way, always consulting both my wife and I as new situations arise. The homely environment and friendly staff always makes it a pleasure to visit and varied activities are on offer. This is due in no small measure to the tireless activities and dedication

of the outstanding manager.

I regularly visit the care home with my therapy dog. The care home is welcoming and well-run. The staff are very caring towards the residents and know their temperaments and preferences very well. The activities co-ordinator Sophie is very organised. The activities schedule is well-managed and planned in advanced for the year to ensure that the residents enjoy activities beneficial for their well-being. Each time I visit she knows which residents like to see my dog and will take us to the right residents to carry out the therapy session. From what I hear, the care home is highly sort after, this is testament to the staff's hard work and dedication. I would recommend this care home to anyone needing dedicated and personal care.

Overall Experience
My sister-in-law has many complex physical and neurological problems and has been a resident in several different care homes over the last 15 or so years. Westbury Grange is the only one that has been able to care for her properly. I believe this is mainly due to the excellent and dedicated staff team, some of whom have worked there for many years and are therefore able to provide the all important continuity of care, which is often lacking in so many other places with a higher staff turnover.
The home manager is exceptionally dedicated and is aware of everything going on within the home and with individual residents.

Westbury Grange feels like a real 'home', not just a nursing establishment, with the staff and residents all being like one big family. My sister-in-law's needs are all catered for, she is safe there and I feel that the staff genuinely care very much about her.

I am a volunteer singer-musician, playing at Westbury Grange twice a month.

I have been impressed with the professional service and care the staff provide for all their residents. I would also like to praise the two Activity Managers (Sophie/Joe) for the way they encourage the residents to sing and dance to the Karaoke music that I provide. They also provide encouragement and motivation to residents who are unable to participate.

Westbury Grange has been home to my mother for the past year. During this time she has been so happy and has enjoyed being with other residents. The staff have been superb and have helped her enormously - they are all so kind and helpful and have really made her feel at home. My family and I cannot recommend Westbury Grange enough - this is a caring home where all the residents are content and happy.

My aunt has been living with dementia in Westbury Grange since 2020. During all these years they have taken exceptional care of her and I am amazed by the tenderness and dedication of the whole team. There is always something lovely happening and it is such a relief to know that she is in such a safe and loving environment. I couldn't wish for her to have a nicer home. It also helps that she absolutely loves the food and can't get enough of hugging everyone.

Seven years ago, I didn't think I'd still have the opportunity to write a review for Westbury Grange. Through the loving care, support and dedication of the staff, we've had seven extra precious years with our dear mother, thanks to:
- Thoughtful nursing staff and carers who have supported her daily through illnesses and stressful times, including the Covid pandemic. The staff have also taken time to include us, the family, in her care.
- Participation in carefully-planned weekly activities (exercising, art and singing) which helped her physical and mental health. These were optional but available if Mum was well enough to attend. Patients confined to their rooms receive visits and activities tailored to their needs.

We've witnessed exceptional individual care afforded to all of the residents. When we left Mum, we had peace of mind, knowing her needs would be met and we'd be contacted if necessary. Westbury Grange staff, residents and visitors have become part of our extended family.

Our daughter has now been in Westbury Grange for eight months and in that time she has presented the staff with challenging medical problems which they have managed well with great professionalism which is a great relief to us. No other homes she has been in have managed her very complex needs. Every part of her life so enhanced with the loving care she is given. The residents receive delicious food prepared from nutritionally balanced menus. The activities in the home are well thought out to engage with as many as possible. It is a happy home with a dedicated management team who make the lives of the residents as fulfilled and happy as they could be.

My mum came to need full-time dementia care following a fall and stay in hospital, which made it impossible for her to go back to living alone. The lady was so helpful and supportive during a very difficult time moving mum. All the staff are so caring and take their time, and Mum never feels rushed. Mum has really settled wonderfully and is very well and happy. I have now gone back to being her daughter and my visits are lovely. I have been as well looked after by everyone at Westbury Grange as mum has been.

My mother is extremely happy in Westbury Grange. She moved from a Retirement Village with sporadic care and was lonely and depressed. She moved into Westbury Grange just under a year ago and her overall health has improved, she is cared for considerately and is stimulated as far as is possible with her condition. This move is the most positive outcome I could have hoped for.

Needing to find a care home can occur unexpectedly and is another complication that compounds already testing times.

We went through a very trying experience when a parent became ill but I'm so pleased we found Westbury Grange. It most definitely fits the category of a care home that provides compassionate and effective support care for a dementia sufferer. The home itself is well-appointed, comfortable and very welcoming for residents and their families. The carers are all friendly, good-humoured and took the time to get to know me personally. When I visit, everyone greets me by name, including relatives of other residents at Westbury which makes me feel so at ease. Westbury is run by experienced, compassionate people who understand what residents and their families are experiencing. I'm happy my relative is well looked after at a well-equipped home, that keeps me advised of developments and works hard to ease the trauma (and occasional hassles) whenever possible.

My mother moved into Westbury Grange in January. The staff could not have been more welcoming in helping her to make the transition, welcoming her with flowers and encouraging her to take part in a range of activities that take place in the home. The staff have also shown her great care and love, identifying any illnesses and making sure she gets the right care and always communicating with me quickly and clearly. I feel very comfortable with the care my mother is receiving.

My wife was in residential care with Westbury Grange with end of life care. Sadly she passed away in May. During her time there she was safe, comfortable and looked after very well. Nobody wants their mum to have to be in residential care but with Westbury Grange, we do at least know that she is safe and cared for. The staff are like family and treat her like they really care for her as a person, not just a resident or patient. People know her likes and dislikes and what she can and can't do. Westbury is comfy and homely and although we still feel guilty that she isn't at home, we know she is in a good place.
