Water Hall Care Centre is an attractive modern building, which opened in 2008 and provides the highest standards of dementia and nursing care and accommodation. Water Hall was the first home in Milton Keynes to be awarded with an 'Outstanding' rating by CQC in February 2021.

Water Hall is located in Water Eaton, Bletchley, within walking distance of the local amenities which include a Post Office, shops and a public house. The home has strong links with the local community especially with the nearby school. There are excellent public transport services to both Bletchley Town Centre and central Milton Keynes Shopping Centre which are only a short bus ride away.

The home has 56 bedrooms with en-suite facilities. There are also lounges and dining rooms with individual kitchenettes on each floor where residents are offered home cooked meals freshly prepared by the chefs and their team. All specialist diets can be catered for.

There is a café, a hairdressing salon and other quiet rooms around the home and there is also an enclosed garden with covered gazebo. All areas are tastefully decorated to a high standard and are wheelchair accessible.

The activities programme is tailored around individuals’ particular interests and a wide variety of daily activities are offered which include arm chair exercises, ball games, regular church services, bingo, singing, dancing and the occasional trip to the seaside.

The care and services provided are delivered by trained professionals who are dedicated to looking after the health and wellbeing of each resident. The management and staff of the home are welcoming and friendly and are proud to provide a supportive and hospitable environment in which to live.

My mother has been a resident at Waterhall Care Home since 2020.
The staff are amazing and pay such attention to detail in every aspect of care given. The friendly atmosphere lends itself well to a home environment. One can say it is a "Home away from Home".
During Covid times the weekly webinars
were a godsend and the live chats via video call kept families very much in the loop.
It gives me such peace of mind, living in South Africa to know that Mom is so well taken care of.
Keep up the excellent work Waterhall ... much appreciated!

Mum has been a resident at Waterhall Care Home for a number of years and the relationship between staff and residents is fantastic. Always make time for a chat, can share a joke and have a sing song. Communication from the team is really on point and webinars are held regularly to explain topics such

Amazing staff with such attention to detail. Every single staff member had a unique story and connection with my mother. I stayed there for a whole week at the end of her life. I was treated with respect, care and compassion, and this was a fraction of how they treated my mother. I am in awe of the
work they do. I am so grateful. All of the staff are fantastic. I will never forget their compassion. Even to the end, there was oral care and movement to prevent pressure sores. They take great pride in ensuring that there is full skin integrity. Bravo.
This care home is like no other that I have ever seen and I really wouldn't mind ending my days somewhere like this. Thank you.

I visited my aunt in the care home recently as she has moved from another home. She was very happy to see me and she smelled lovely, the carer had put on her favourite perfume and done her nails which was so lovely to see and obviously cheered her up too. Her keyworker had already put up her pictures
in her room which made her feel so at home.

We really could not have asked for better care for our mother. Our mum stayed here for four months before she peacefully passed at the care home.
From the day she started there, she was treated with warmth and kindness from all the staff. They have been amazing throughout her stay at the home and she
felt very much at home. Every day I visited they also looked after me during the long hours I spent with her.
When Mum was end of life they accommodated me and my family to visit and be with her at all times. They kept us informed at all times as to her progression and were sensitive throughout the process.
After she passed they were amazing, accommodating our rituals and fulfilling all our wishes. They provided us with their facilities and gave us tea, coffee and snacks to support and comfort us. They allowed us to use their dining area through the days to accommodate our large family going above and beyond what we expected.
We cannot thank them enough for everything they’ve done.

My mother very reluctantly came to Waterhall as a full-time resident in December 2020. Up to that time she was living in her own flat receiving four care at home visits each day. Despite best efforts, my mother had spent 2019 and 2020 in and out of hospital with one ailment/infection after the other.
My mother is 98 years old. Following the first couple of hard weeks in Covid isolation following her arrival, my mother has really settled into the nursing floor at Waterhall very well and now she regards this as her home. She has not had a single hospital admission since coming to Waterhall and I put this down to the wonderful care and attention by the nursing team on the second floor and to that of the wider Waterhall care family. The manager should be so proud... Waterhall is a home from home for all its residents.

I visited my sister on 15th September 2021, with my wife. We did the LFT at home so we saved some time. The staff registered the tests, gave us some PPE and gloves and we were taken to my sister's room. A nurse greeted us, then left us alone, to chat privately.
My sister's eyes lit up and she had a
broad smile. We chatted, remembered old times, she ate a little and we took some photos.
We were helped to the way out. Removed our PPE and the staff called for a taxi to take us back to the train station.
The whole experience was well organised, the staff were helpful, and the place was clean.
We left with a light heart, in the knowledge that my sister was having excellent care.

Waterhall was a home away from home for my dad in his last years and I couldn’t be more pleased with the way he was cared for. The kindness and skill of the staff humbles me. They treat residents with immense warmth and made my dad and our family feel like their own. They have tremendous nursing and
personal care skills backed up with a wealth of experience. The staff at Waterhall enabled me to spend quality time with dad safe in the knowledge that they were looking after his complex medical and emotional needs. They kept him happy and healthy. The honest and easy communication with all staff meant we were able to overcome the inevitable challenges of having a loved one in a care home. Our Waterhall family should feel proud of themselves! Staff are excellent in helping when needed. Supervisors and managers let you know when there is change going on with our loved ones. The care home is well looked after and everyone is friendly. Able to ask for drinks when needed. The fire alarm works well.

All the staff at Waterhall Care Home do an amazing job of not only providing an excellent level of care but also fostering a family environment whereby residents feel welcomed and cared for in a way that makes them feel at home. The lovely lady in the office who greets you, the activities manager who
went above and beyond for my mum, capturing pictures of my mum having fun and doing things she hasn’t done in years (music, baking and gardening), which brought me great comfort. All the staff on the 2nd floor were very caring and attentive - very grateful to them all.

Lovely care home. We went to visit our Gran for the first time today. This is a wonderful, professional care home with kind and caring staff. The facilities are bright and the place is clearly well looked after and noticeably clean. We were so pleased to see our gran nicely settled in such a lovely

My mum was in for 3 weeks respite which was amazing. After seeing the care given in that short period and mum being bedbound and the care given during these hard times (Covid) this is the only place it was agreed to keep her with yourselves Waterhall Care. The staff were amazing. Care with a smile.
