I cannot justify in words the kindness of staff, the high level of care given and the positivity about the place. They have taken extremely good care of my mother since she has been there. This is evident by her morale, her positivity and telling me how great the staff are. I am very lucky she got placed in Admirals Reach Care Home. 100% thoroughly recommend.

My father Philip was admitted in July of this year with terminal cancer. He sadly deteriorated rapidly and passed away in November. Throughout his stay care and nursing staff were highly responsive to his changing needs. Utmost care was taken to reduce pain and with the support of the hospice his medication was monitored and adjusted.
All staff at the home were kind, thoughtful, with my father's welfare at their absolute priority. His room was kept very clean. His clothes were well laundered and he appreciated the choice of lunch, especially as choices were shown to him prior to serving.
Sadly two of his paintings were not put on his room wall and subsequently disappeared.
I have nothing but admiration for the kindness and patience shown by all staff he came into contact with.

On my father's behalf a big thank you to you all.

The care has always been excellent for my dad, he has been here over 5 years, and the most important thing is that all the main nurses are the same as when he first arrived, who are all excellent.

All the carers are excellent and very hard working, and nothing is a problem for them.

My dad has been a resident of the care home for almost 4 years with Alzheimer's disease. During this time I have been extremely satisfied with his care. He is always clean and tidy, as is his room. I know he is happy and content even though there have been challenges with his illness.

He enjoys the entertainment, especially the music and singing. The food is amazing and cooked on site. The most important thing for me is how caring and professional the staff are. Nothing is too much trouble and they keep you well informed. They are amazing.

Douglas was very happy at this home. When we visited, he never complained to us about anything. The staff are amazing. Very hospitable and always listened to any concerns which we may have had. Douglas was always clean and well groomed, and the food was very good, too. I would recommend this care home as we always felt at ease knowing he was well cared for by the lovely staff.

Douglas was very happy at the care home. Whenever we visited, the staff were amazing. They offered us drinks, and their overall hospitality was excellent. We never had to complain about anything when we visited. If we had any concerns, we were always reassured by the staff. Douglas said he was happy at this care home. Douglas was very well cared for and I would recommend Admirals Reach Care Home.

My husband always looks well looked after. He is always clean and shaved and is wearing clean clothes. His room is clean and looks cheerful with family things added. Although he can only have pureed food, the food I have seen always looks appetising.

Benbow Rise is an excellent care/nursing unit. The staff are extremely kind and conscious of all the residents needs. My mum is treated extremely well, she is bed bound and the staff are able to cater for her every need. The home is kept clean and tidy. The residents are treated with respect and dignity. The food is very good, there is always something for the residents to eat or drink. I would recommend Benbow Rise/Admirals Reach to anyone.

I have found the staff to always be helpful and friendly; they take very good care of my mum; she is well dressed, clean, and monitored. They are always professional and extremely caring to all residents under all circumstances. It can be a difficult decision to put a family member into a care home, but I feel like I have struck gold with Admirals Reach. Lovely place, with lovely people!

My mum has been a resident at the care home since 2016, and in all the time that she was a resident, she has been treated very well and cared for by all the staff at all times. Sadly, my mum passed away in August but the staff contacted me straight away so that I could be with her until the end. I and my mum were treated with dignity and respect from the fantastic care team.

The managers, care staff, kitchen, etc. All work to a very high standard. My husband always looks clean and cared for. The most impressive thing is that many of the staff have been on Benbow for several years, hence the continuity of the excellent care.
