We feel mum was very well looked after, especially in Jellico House. Mum was taken into the social spaces and included in activities. Whenever we visited, we could hear staff talking to residents with patience and kindness.

Jellicoe House has been amazing. The care our mum received has been excellent, and all staff were always empathetic, thoughtful and understanding to our mum but also our family. She loved the social times she had here, too - the staff at Jellicoe went out of their way to know her, even when she struggled to communicate

Our family are very pleased with the care home, surroundings and care staff. We fine Barry happy most of the time, his moods and happenings are up and down as you know, especially at night times, enjoyed his trips out, but needs to be kept an eye on as unfortunately he steals things and put them in his pockets! If not watched he drinks too much fluid, he had fluid retention and his legs and feet swell. Understand he's on new medication now, so hopefully when that kicks in it will make his moods improve. Thank you all so much!

The care and attention from all the staff is first class. I am very happy that my sister has been lucky enough to secure temporary residence at Nelson House and sincerely hope it becomes her permanent home.

My sincere thanks to all involved.

As a family we were very nervous about leaving mum. Yet the experience, kindness from the staff really put our minds at rest. This kindness from all the staff has continued - no matter how busy they are or what time of day it is.

The professionalism given by the staff, together with the care and understanding of the resident's needs is something I appreciate. I try to visit her daily and always find her clean and well dressed, the hygiene in the home is exceptional and as always the way staff deal with other residents reassures me that my wife is receiving the best care possible taking into account the nature of the issues she has.

As always I have to thank all the staff for making me welcome, the chats when I am feeling low and of course the coffee.

I have visited friends in both the Mountbatten and Jellicoe communities and found both environments to be very clean with caring staff and good food.
I have witnessed staff communications and interacting with residents in a kind, patient manner.

Rooms and facilities are well furnished, clean and well maintained. Lovely ground to sit outside when the weather allows.
