Mum has been at the Lodge for 5 years. She arrived with Alzheimers which of course, caused a steady decline up to her death in January 2017. The room had a view over open countryside. It was comfortable and well-decorated. The staff were fantastic. Their care and compassion were second to none....
Mum has been at the Lodge for 5 years. She arrived with Alzheimers which of course, caused a steady decline up to her death in January 2017. The room had a view over open countryside. It was comfortable and well-decorated. The staff were fantastic. Their care and compassion were second to none. Entertainment was regularly put on for residents and my mum really enjoyed the singing eg. Irish songs. Mum was always washed and dressed nicely. This took place about 2 years ago when mum could no longer do these things. The grounds are lovely and well kept and mum liked being taken for walks when she was able. On her death, several of the staff cried - says everything.
