Hutton Village Care Home

Beautiful care home, such a lovely atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. My aunt absolutely loves it there. Whenever I go to visit her, she's always getting involved in an activity like, bowls, knitting/crafts, bingo, quizzes. The staff really get involved too. Extremely clean and tidy there and my aunt loves the meals. I would definitely recommend this cafe home.

Hutton Village Care Home is the best care home in the area. My mother-in-law has tried several and this is the only one that adequately meets her needs and gives us confidence that she is being truly cared for.

A beautiful well-maintained care home with staff who give 100% of their time to ensure your loved one is well cared for. They have great well-planned activities and a beautiful garden. For all to enjoy. The food is also of high quality with kitchen staff who work hard at what they do to please the residents. My husband is happy here with the care he receives. This is certainly a place worth considering if you are looking to place a loved one.

From our first visit to view Hutton Village, we knew it was just right for our dear mum. They treat Mum with so much kindness, patience and respect. Mum is relatively new to Hutton Village and is now getting used to her surroundings and has told us she is happy there. Mum requires movement to be made by using the hoist which she is nervous of. But the staff are very kind and reassuring towards her. The staff are very busy and when it comes to mealtimes need that bit extra help to feed the residents who can't do it themselves. The carers do their very best.

As a family, we always feel welcomed. Staff work extremely hard however at certain times of the day it can feel as though more staff are required.

I cannot thank Hutton Village Care Home enough. My mother has had a number of falls recently and has also become quite ill. After her most recent fall, I called them at 9:30 am and by 2:00 pm Mum was sitting comfortably with a cup of tea in a room at Hutton Village with her bed being prepared. All the staff were very welcoming and caring towards Mum putting her at ease and making sure she was comfortable. It was so nice to find that paperwork was not the priority. She is now receiving the care she needs and is hopefully on her way to full recovery.

My dad is currently residing at Hutton Village Care Home following a stroke in March 2024. Every member of staff is welcoming, extremely friendly and professional. The home is very well kept and the food served is nutritional, well-presented and very tasty! My dad is now eating 3 full meals a day and really enjoys all of the food that he is offered. I feel satisfied in the knowledge that dad is safe and being well cared for 24/7. Thank you to the wonderful team at Hutton Village!

From the moment you walk through the door, you are met with a super friendly team. The home is extremely well-kept, clean and tidy. It is like a five-star hotel. My dad really likes the home and will be very happy there.

Hutton Village Nursing Home is truly exceptional. My dad was so particular about so many things we had quite a search ahead of us. However, we were blessed to find this gem on so many counts and managed to secure a place for my dad. We cannot thank the entire team enough for the warmness, kindness and concern they gave our dad throughout his stay. Incredible team! Would highly recommend without hesitation.

The facilities are lovely and we have spent a lovely afternoon as a family sitting outside together in the summer house, which I think my grandma really enjoyed.

I went to visit a friend. Hutton Care Home is of a very high standard. All staff were polite. The home was very clean. I went to the day room and sat with other residents. There was a quiz, it's a welcoming home with beautiful gardens.

The activity that I saw was well-organised and inclusive. Fun was had by those attending that particular activity.

The gardens are beautiful with the pavilion making an ideal setting for extended family visits.

We were not happy with the lack of effort around getting Mum established in the critical first week when we would have thought that better efforts would have been made to ensure that everything regarding her requirements, which we had laid out in detail to the management, was adequately transmitted to the nursing/care staff, but was not. We feel that the management made claims about the level of care and attention that Mum would receive that in practice did not happen. We removed Mum after a fortnight in the home.

My dad spent almost a year at Hutton Village and I can honestly say I have been extremely pleased with all aspects of his care. I know that carers talked to him about his life when they could as he was bedbound and the food was really good, nothing was too much trouble. When you move someone into a care home you want to know they will be well looked after and cared for in a dignified way. I am very satisfied that during his stay all his care needs were met.

A recent initial visit and subsequent visits convinced us to move our friend into this care home. We were very impressed with the home. The friendliness kindness and patience of the staff were impressive. Very good support management at all times. The introduction of our friend a few days ago was dealt with very well with compassion and understanding from all the staff.

We selected this nursing home for my father-in-law based on personal recommendations. The care and attention shown to him is outstanding. This care extends to all of the family and I would not hesitate to recommend this nursing home to others. Many thanks.

I cannot thank Hutton Village Care home enough for the love and care given to my aunt over the last four years. They became part of her family. Auntie passed away on 23rd November 2022 aged 100 and the care given to my aunt and myself before and after passing was paramount. I cannot thank them enough.

Fantastic care provided to my mum. Really put my mind at ease to know that she is safe and well cared for. Thank you so much.

I can honestly say it has really helped with my own health issues to know he is being so well looked after.
