In addition to nurses and rehabilitation assistants, the centre employs a physiotherapist, occupational health therapist, speech and language therapist and psychologist.
The centre’s main objectives is to train people and equip them with the necessary skills to return to independent living following a stroke, brain injury or other complex conditions.

I came here for rehabilitation from the hospital. My first impressions were that it was a home from home environment (very nearly). On arrival, I had NO mobility and now 2 weeks on, I can feed myself, rotate myself in bed, have movement in my legs. The nursing staff have been very good, the physio outstanding and the general auxiliary help is very caring, respectful and treated me with the utmost dignity. I would have no hesitation in recommending Uplands Rehabilitation Centre. Both physios are 24 carat gold.

I was so impressed as soon as walking into Uplands Rehabilitation Centre. The atmosphere was superb the place itself was clean, friendly and very comfortable and the staff were exceptional and certain ones were well and truly dedicated.
