I was very happy with the kindness and care given to my Mum during the last few years of her life. She was dependent on others for everything and the staff were excellent in looking after her. Mum's room was also bright and comfortable and the home was a lovely place for her to spend her last years.

Just a wonderful care home.
First class - everyone is so caring.
They look after our mum perfectly as they did to my late mother in law who was in Abercorn House.
A lovely home - it does not feel like a care home.
Perfect in every way.
All staff are amazing.

From the day our daughter in law arrived into your care, until her very last day, she was treated with total care and extreme dignity in all aspects.
Whenever a question was needed to be answered, there was always someone there for both her and her family.
The whole family would endorse our words
that if ever there was a care home to be proud of, Gracewell Camberley was/is that home.

My mother has been in the care of Gracewell of Camberley for 4 years. She has and is, loving the most excellent care. She is not easy, the carers are patient and kind. My father was transferred to the home following a diagnosis of a terminal illness. During the time he was in the home he received excellent care and support and was treated with great dignity and kindness.
My sisters and I were also very well cared for and supported when we visited him. He was
only there for 3 months but was well cared for during that time and his death was made as comfortable and pain free as was possible.

I think the home is stunning. Appreciated probably more by visitors families than residents. Sometimes it appears there are too few staff. Also, requests for things don't get done when requested i.e. Fingernails need cutting, not done had to remind. Also, rooms not left tidy, on occasions stains on
carpets already not removed. Tray table often sticky. Drinks not replenished often enough. Most of the staff are delightful and very willing and friendly.

Excellent care home. Cannot be faulted great staff both nursing, caring and management. All the facilities spotless and brand new.
Food excellent. All relatives and guests welcomed at all times. Excellent communication between staff and residents/relatives.
Incredibly varied list of available activities.

My mother-in-law has been a resident since March 2015. Before she became a resident we had viewed other homes in the area. They did not have the facilities for care and the stimulation that was provided at Gracewell of Camberley. My wife and I were so impressed with the home that we have told the family
that if we have to go into a home to make sure we go to Gracewell of Camberley.

Mum has been a resident for just over 2 years now. The staff remain, as always, very kind and caring. Everybody has bigger, better bedrooms with ensuite now and the wider corridors are a big help but the old building has some advantages over the new one.
If a resident was going out by car or ambulance,
they had no chance to get cold or wet, straight out the door under the cover of the porch and into the transport. Now they have a few yards to go in the open.
The cinema is the largest entertainment area, it's shape and furniture is not as practical as the old building, impossible to cater for the big events they used to have. I am at the home 4 to 5 times a week.

Noise of call buzzers is too long and too loud.
No diabetic food/pudding options
Dining area - placement of pull cords not suitable for wheelchair users.
I feel all the hard working staff are overworked and what is expected of them is far too much. They work long hours. I think they are all lovely
people and I thank all of them.

The nursing home felt spacious and had a sense of stillness on entering. Rooms were reasonable size. ALL staff were communicative and gentle with the patients.

I earned my Nursing degree in Portugal in 2000 and gained extensive experience working as a staff nurse in both NHS and private hospitals, followed by care homes. After moving to England in 2013, I continued as a Staff Nurse in a care home and transitioned to management in 2014 as a Deputy Manager.


I am passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives and passing that passion to my residents, their families, and my team at Camberley Woods Care Home. Our home combines exceptional care, wonderful residents, and a welcoming environment, and I take great pride in the work my team and I do to improve the quality of life for our residents.
