The care provided for my father is tailored to his needs and wishes. Changes are needed from time to time and this has been well managed. Both he and I are very happy with the surroundings, the staff and the activities which are laid on. As a family member, I appreciate the freedom to visit at anytime day or night. All staff get to know and understand the residents and I also appreciate that my father's carers have got to know me too.
Gracewell of Camberley appreciate moving into a care home can be an unsettling time. This is why we take the time to engage with family members and friends of the resident to make the process as smooth as possible, to get to know the resident on a personal level. We are pleased to hear your father has settled in well.
I am very pleased with the standard of care and attitude of the care and activities staff that I've met.
Here at Gracewell of Camberley, we endeavour to provide the very best experience for our residents and their families. Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words with us, and these will be shared with the team.
Her room and en-suite is always immaculate and her clothes well laundered. The home itself is beautifully clean and welcoming.
The food is freshly cooked and appetising and there are always plenty of snacks around. There are plenty of activities for the residents as Gracewell have their own activities team. Visitors are always welcome to join in as well. The staff look after all the family as well as my mum. They always phone if there is anything to report. Communication with Gracewell is excellent. My mum is very happy there. It is a very happy place.

I visited my mum who lives in Gracewell of Camberley. I knocked her door gently and entered her room and realised she was in her bathroom with a carer. I didn’t want to disturb them so I sat on a chair quietly to wait and I was fully aware that they didn’t know I was there. I could hear the carer talking to Mum, obviously trying to encourage her to wash and dress. I was overwhelmed by the compassion that this carer showed to my mum who is in the advanced stages of dementia. I could hear this carer gently encouraging, not rushing, using positive language and even softly singing to her. I was blown away. Yes, all staff without exception are fantastic and patient and always have time to stop for a few minutes to show love and tenderness even though they are so busy but this particular carer in my opinion at that time was exceptional. Thank you so much to all the staff there, especially this carer.
We are thrilled with your positive experience and are so glad your mother has settled in so well to Gracewell of Camberley. We take great pride in delivering high quality care and providing facilities to our residents. Your recognition of this is invaluable to our team, thank you.
My mum was in Gracewell for 3 months with advanced Dementia. She got upset a lot and didn't know where she was. She could never find her way back to her room, as the corridors were so long, with the lounges right at the end of the corridors, so she was constantly found walking up and down. She soon became very aggressive which the staff were not able to cope with. She harmed herself as well as others. Due to their policies there, they were unable to give mum any medication that would help to calm her down. She just got worse and worse, which was extremely stressful to watch. Her personal care got less and less because it was almost impossible to do, until one day they asked us to leave. Eventually, we found another home that can look after her and can give her appropriate medication, adjusting it when needed. She is much happier and in a much better place for her level of dementia. I would therefore not recommend Gracewell for anyone with advanced dementia.

Lovely, quiet room, but nice busy cafe and activities for meeting people and joining in. Staff are friendly and create a pleasant atmosphere.

Gracewell of Camberley staff are very focused on the wellbeing of all the residents. They are always putting into practice new ideas to keep residents entertained and most importantly seem to be very concerned about the good care of each person. My next of kin is very happy at Gracewell and says he feels safe and secure. I am amazed at the effort that is put into making it a great environment for all.

I would not hesitate in recommending Gracewell of Camberley. The staff are friendly and professional with a very caring nature. The facilities are first class. I can't fault any of the care my elderly mother has received.

My mother-in-law spent the last five weeks of her life at Gracewell of Camberley. She was surrounded by compassion and treated with dignity. Everyone that we came into contact with was very friendly, helpful and we couldn't have asked for anything more. My mother-in-law had her final birthday here and the home did their utmost to make sure that this was celebrated in the way we wished. I cannot praise everyone at the home highly enough as they made us all feel part of an extended family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We selected Gracewell of Camberley for my mother and were very glad that we did. The facilities are excellent, food is superb and the organisation into 'boulevards' is inspired. But all of these matter for nought if the staff are not up to the task. Every member of staff we interacted with here were exceptional.
Mum felt 'lucky' to be at Gracewell and couldn't say enough about how 'marvellous' everything was whilst she could. From our perspective, it removed the worry and we knew she was well cared for at every stage and content.
The staff treated Mum with dignity and were excellent at communication with us. It was a compassionate, joined up service and she passed well in their care. We could not have wished for better.

Throughout my mother's stay, I have been impressed with the high standard of Gracewell. Whenever I checked with her, mum was always happy with the care she received. As the end of her life approached and she became less capable, the carers treated her with dignity and respect. I highly recommend Gracewell on the basis of our experience.
Firstly, please accept our sincere condolences for your recent loss and thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Gracewell of Camberley – particularly at such a difficult time.

The staff at Gracewell of Camberley have been exceptional. My mother died in their care on July 15th and I was both impressed and comforted by their sensitive handling of the situation.
She had been hurt and scared (due to her previous care home experience at another facility) when she came into the care of Gracewell and it took time to gain her trust - which they did within 3 weeks and I could see her relax and trust them. The care was stellar and we are very grateful to all of the staff.

We knew straight away that it was a special place! Every care was taken to help them settle in, find out their personal likes and dislikes and to help make their room their own.
The staff are always helpful and friendly, and nothing is ever too much trouble.
My parents already feel very much at home here - their mood has lifted and they seem more like their old selves.
They are never short of company and stimulating things to do - the entertainments programme is very varied and well thought out, ranging from concerts and quizzes to cocktail parties and barbecues in the garden!
The food is healthy and delicious.
It's wonderful to be able to call in and spend time relaxing with them over afternoon tea or a drink in the 'pub', knowing that everything else is taken care of.
Truly a special place.

During that time I could not have wished for a better home for mum.
The quality of the accommodation was fabulous and the care provided by staff was excellent.
It was a comfort to know that mum was in a beautiful, safe and calm home.
I would completely recommend Gracewell.

The introduction of the 'pub' is innovative and brilliant.
My husband has met new men friends there, he loves to relax with a drink and chat to people, just like he's a normal person. It has made a huge difference to his social opportunities.
I am grateful for all the efforts made to help him feel at home.

Meet the Team (4)

I began my journey as a Carer in 2008, progressing through roles like Senior Carer, Dementia Manager, and Deputy Manager before becoming General Manager of a residential care home in April 2024. I took over Camberley Woods Care Home in December 2025 and I am dedicated to providing a high-quality service, tailored to the individual needs of each resident. I have an excellent team that works hard to ensure that our residents get the best care and that all of their needs are met to the highest standard.

I am delighted to have joined Signature Care Homes in my role as a Customer Liaison Manager at Signature at Camberley. I have come from a background of customer service, and very much look forward to utilising these skills in a care home environment, offering support to prospective new residents and their families, as they search for a new lifestyle and peace of mind in their surroundings, supported by the best team of caring and dedicated staff.

I joined in 2018 as an activities assistant, I quickly came to love being able to brighten peoples day through finding and providing meaningful activities. I have since started my new role as the Activities Coordinator where I now organise and manage all the weekly and special monthly events for our residents and truly enjoy my job here. Our home looks after over 80 residents, all of whom are special and enjoy a wide range of interests and activities.

I have been working here for over 16 years. Our residents are one of a kind and I take great pride in ensuring everyone is in a clean, safe and happy environment. Myself and my team enjoy being with the residents every day, getting to know everyone individually to ensure we can deliver a truly personalised experience.
