To the matron and manager, please pass on my absolute gratitude for looking after Mum so beautifully.

My mother has been here for nearly three years now and is very happy. The home is beautiful, her room spacious clean and homely and the carers are all fantastic, nothing is too much for them. I am relieved knowing that she is being so well looked after and that she is happy and content.

My mother has been a resident at Andover Nursing Home for over two years. I feel incredibly grateful to all the staff who take such great care of her. The kindness and love given to Mum and all the residents is truly remarkable. That wonderful spirit of caring is given to visitors and families as well. The home is always spotless and a great effort is made to make activities fun. Thank you everyone!

My uncle has resided in Andover Nursing Home for four and a half years. He has seen Covid times and pre and post-living. The quality of the care has been fantastic in all this time. As a family, we could not have asked for more. Knowing that he was safe and looked after in such a caring way and kept occupied by the activities staff was a great peace of mind. If asked, I would certainly recommend.

Our son aged 48 has lived in Andover Nursery Home for over three years. It is unusual for a younger person to need care in a nursing home and as his parents we worried how he would fit in. He is kind and gentle and absolutely loves the happy, positive and calm nature of life there. The house is delightful, the staff are exceptional. They are friendly and respectful to those in their care and go the extra mile to provide a comfortable safe and clean environment, in a professional, and positive way. Nothing is too much trouble there is always a can-do attitude. The food is lovely the entertainment is plentiful, varied and exceptionally good. There is ample opportunity for us to talk with the staff offsetting any worries or join in with the activities and support our son. He phones us full of excitement, especially on Fridays - Happy Hour, Fish and Chips and Friday is his favourite day. The staff also sit and talk with him making sure his needs are met as sometimes it takes him a while to remember what he wants to say. We are indebted to the matron and her wonderful staff.

Mum was a resident for nine years. In her final months, Mum was not able to wash, dress or feed herself. The wonderful staff cared for all her needs with compassion and love. During her final days, they made her comfortable and kept her peaceful. The staff were outstanding in the way that they cared and often popped in to say hello or sit with Mum for a few minutes. Thank you to all our Andover Nursing Home.

The home is clean and smells lovely. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The residents are well looked after.

Warm welcome, have felt very welcomed by all the staff and residents. The room is in a lovely situation and the gardens are wonderful. All communal areas are immaculate. On the whole, the food is very good with plenty of choice. Settled quickly and very well.

My dad gets brilliant 24-hour support from very friendly and caring staff.

Mum lived here for nearly 7 years and what an amazing and lovely home it has been for her. In the latter years, she was unable to respond in any meaningful way to anyone due to advanced dementia but she was loved and cherished by the fantastic staff, she remained a person to them to the very end. Mum was treated with dignity and compassion, her every need was met, her comfort paramount. We were well supported during her final hours and the kindness and respect shown was above and beyond expectation. This is a truly excellent home with really wonderful staff and I cannot thank them enough for all they did for our much-loved Mum.

Very caring and friendly staff. Everyone is very kind. My mother's room is spotless as are all the other areas of the home. She can ask for help with anything she needs and this is done with kindness. My mother is very happy there.

Always find the staff very helpful, hardworking and care for the residents in their charge. Management staff are approachable and listen to anything raised by a resident or family relative. They keep families well informed. The home provides a safe environment and the staff are empathic and provides a safe environment and the staff are empathic and provide excellent care to their residents. They treat residents with respect and dignity even during difficult and challenging situations.

The deputy manager and the team at the Andover Nursing Home have been excellent. They have made my parents feel extremely welcome and comfortable. All the staff are kind, friendly and personable and the food is brilliant. It definitely feels like home.

My husband and I have been part of Andover Nursing Home for 2 and a half years. My husband was the resident and right from our first day we were welcomed in like family. The staff there, each and every one is quite unique, extraordinary. Nothing is too much trouble, they are professional yet friendly, they work hard but always with a smile and the atmosphere is heartwarming. We were looked after with love and compassion and I cannot recommend the care home highly enough.

I have lived here for eight years. The staff are my family. I love it here.

My mother came from hospital very poorly with diabetes that is hard to control. Her sodium levels were also very high (dangerously). She came from a local care home (residential) that could no longer meet her needs. Now I have a very different mother, due to the care that is provided. She is clean, tidy, more talkative, happy, eating well and generally well cared for and I can't thank them enough. Thank you.

We visited our friend in the lovely care home. There was a brilliant afternoon of two young ladies singing and we were served with tea, sandwiches and cake. If we lived nearer we'd spend our last years very happily.

This nursing home has given my elderly mother excellent care over the past month and indeed ever since she first became a resident, over a year ago. Her general health and well-being have improved as a result. They have made her as comfortable as they can given her high degree of frailty. They have been faced with a challenging set of circumstances during that period, brought about by certain individuals outside the home who have constantly tried to micromanage her care and medication. The home has dealt with the situation with great patience and diplomacy.
