Super, fabulous and very professional. My mum took a while to settle in, with the support and care of all the staff, from the cleaners to the senior staff she's a very happy and contented lady. Which makes me very happy to know she's in safe hands especially during this pandemic. 10/10 from me.

My mother has been a resident for just over two years. She is 96 years old, suffers from worsening dementia and is no longer able to walk on her own.
The care she has received and continues to receive has been nothing but first class.
The staff are wonderfully considerate of all her needs, the food
is excellent and the entertainment and activities that are laid on to stimulate and entertain are fantastic.
Having looked at a number of Nursing Homes for Mum, my brother and I are so thankful that a place at Durban House was available when she desperately needed care.
During the COVID crisis, Durban House were a step ahead of the game and communication with relatives has been excellent.

Durban House is a pleasant facility with beautiful gardens. The staff are caring and compassionate.
I have seen little staff turnover in the four and a half years my mother has lived there.
Activities and celebrations take place frequently and are varied and inclusive.
The nursing care is very efficient.

My Wife is now in Durban House, she has cancer and is now quite frail. Everybody at the home has been so welcoming to me and my Wife. My Wife knows all the staff already and says they are extremely caring. We are very happy that she is at Durban House. A great weight has been lifted off my mind.

My mother has only been a resident in Durban House for just over two months. The home is well cared for and the staff create a warm, homely atmosphere. They treat my mother who can be excellent with respect to her medical need, keeping me well informed. The staff are welcoming when we visit and there
are always plenty of them around to see to the resident's needs. We are pleased to have chosen Durban House knowing that our mother will be looked after in the best possible manner until the end of her life.

My dad moved to Durban House when his last care home closed and it became obvious he needed nursing care. He settled in very well and didn't seem to us, his family, too confused with his new surroundings. He has a beautiful large room looking out onto part of the garden which he loves. No matter
what time of day I visit his room is always immaculately clean, as is my dad. I am very happy with his care and also very happy with the huge range of activities that take place at Durban House to keep the residents/service users stimulated.

I’m Marie, I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2006 after studying at Southampton University. Since then, my career has been dedicated to working in elderly care, with a particular focus on acquired brain injuries, dementia, and end of life care. For the past 14 years, I have held management roles within care settings, where my passion has always been to deliver the highest standard of care to individuals who need support at the most vulnerable times in their lives. My goal is to create a true "home from home" environment—where everyone feels safe, respected, and cared for with dignity.
