Gorseway Park Retirement Village

Since my mum had a stroke she cannot stand and needs all her personal care to be administered by staff. She also is frustrated and can act and say things inappropriately. The staff have been patient, consistent and understanding - even when the weather/uniforms make life even more challenging. Many thanks to all the team. The home always is welcoming and smells lovely. (Some homes smell of incontinence pads - Gorseway NEVER does!)

I was in respite care for two weeks to give my daughter a break. My daughter is my only carer. Gorseway Nursing Home was a beautiful place to stay. The staff were excellent, caring, friendly, very helpful and professional. The food was very good, they were very accommodating. The room I was in was very nice and the grounds are beautiful too. This was my first ever stay in respite and I found it very reassuring.

Gorseway is situated in a lovely location with beautiful grounds. All of the staff are wonderful, very caring and friendly, and keep my mum very well looked after. Her room is well sized, and looks out onto the well maintained gardens and pond.

Activities are organised on a regular basis the staff go the extra mile organising a party for my mother's 97th birthday (great time was had by all).

My grandmother is a resident at Gorseway manor. I have nothing but good things to say about the care she receives. The staff are all warm and friendly. The residents are always kept entertained with crafts and other activities. It's a very welcoming home and I am extremely happy with the care she receives

The kindness, care and compassion shown by all the staff is second to none. Gorseway Park Manor is always full of fun and laughter.

I cannot praise the staff at Gorseway Manor enough they really do go above and beyond. The Manor is full of love, caring and laughter always.

Friendly helpful staff, well maintained care home, clean, good food, complete overall care for the patients well being.

My mother in law has settled in really well, it was very hard for her son to have to put her into a home, but is happy with where she is, everything is really positive, she is always clean + tidy, the food is really good, all staff have always been so nice to us offering us a chair + cup of tea. Her room is always clean. There is not 1 negative thing about Gorseway. We are happy with everything you are doing for J.

The staff have also been very proactive in making referrals to the GP when needed which gives me peace of mind.

The staff are very kind & caring. Always ready to help with anything.

It was difficult and quite frightening choosing a care home for mum, but we definitely made the right choice here.

For 5 weeks I stayed at Gorseway Park as a transition from hospital to moving back home. I needed to gain strength and some changes needed to be made at home. Gorseway provided the ideal setting. The staff were professional, positive, patient, happy, encouraging, treated me as an individual and went the extra mile. My room opened onto the garden which enabled me to watch wildlife and walk outside. Activities were available. Meals were tailored to my neds.

Very good garden party and entertainment by all staff.

The staff are always friendly, and helpful. They treat their clients extremely well. My husband has only been a resident for less than 6 months and l couldn't ask for better care facilities. He is always treated with dignity and respect. He has a lovely room overlooking the beautiful garden near the pond.

Mum is in Gorseway Park. I cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work. Mum is so happy. Entertainment is first class. Lovely genuine people. Many thanks.
