Knellwood originally opened as a memorial to local servicemen and servicewomen who gave their lives in the Second World War and, as a nursing home, looks to have a positive impact on the lives of those in
the Farnborough with care needs.
The Home is run by a non-profit making charity, which is called ‘the Farnborough (War Memorial) Housing Society Ltd’. It is run by a Board of Management with a Manager providing day-to-day control. It offers a homely atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, excellent food and a 24-hour care service.
Knellwood is a large Victorian country house with two newer wings set in a delightful garden with several acres of lawn and woodland.
Where possible, Residents may bring small items of furniture and personal effects to place in their accommodation.
