My mother has been a resident at Millway House nursing home for five and a half years and I am delighted to say that she is thriving very well on her nursing care and general care.

When I visit every day I am always pleased to see that she is being well looked after and she is happy. I feel as if I am always welcome and treated as part of the family that Millway House seems to make relatives and residents a family feel.

Whenever I visit my mother at Millway House I always find a relaxed but very professional atmosphere.
Relaxed for the residents, professional by the staff.

Excellent and well organised mental and physical activities for the residents. Thank you.

We are satisfied in general with Mum's care needs, nursing care and welfare. She likes the majority of the staff especially during daytime but is not so keen on some of the night staff. Saying that their case is good. At times we appreciate her toilet needs can be demanding but that is the reason for her being there. At times, her room and bathroom are in need of a good clean but overall, Millway House meets our expectations. Although Mum would rather still be in her own home, she appreciates the care she is given and is as happy as she ever will be!

My mother has resided in Millway House for about 3 years.
To my surprise, she settled in very well and enjoys the activities and outings the home organises.
She seems very happy there and her health has improved.

That is a testament to the professionalism and kindness of staff at Millway House.

Millway House nursing home ticks all the boxes from the moment you drive in. A fine, light, sunny house that looks nothing like a nursing home. Upon entry, this continues onto the resident's lounges and rooms. Their happiness and welfare are very much the focus of the staff and they do a first class job.

My mother says " I am very happy here at Millway House and I am looked after very well. The nurses soon make me better when I am not too well".

My uncle receives the very best care at Millway House. The whole staff - matron, nursing, caring, cleaning, kitchen and maintenance - are always charming, friendly and helpful.

Very well run home. All the staff very caring my Father-in-law and my Mother-in-law are residents and are very well cared for. The food is first class. The home is very clean with no odours and flowers every where. Entertainment every day if the residents wish to join in. The Matron is very accommodating and always has time for you.

Millway House Nursing Home is a very friendly place. We are always greeted with a smile by members of staff. The home is always clean and tidy and at weekends cleaning is carried out. The activities are good but my aunt cannot always join in as she cannot see properly. She cannot see or hear the tv. She is treated with dignity and her needs are met. Sometimes there is a problem with her food because she is a vegetarian but this has improved. I feel that hairdressing and chiropody should be included in the care she pays for. My aunt likes to talk to other residents she is looking forward to being in the garden during the summer.

When my wife needed to go into a home, I inspected six homes in the Andover area accompanied by my daughter - we were not overly impressed by five, but Millway House was by far the best candidate and the presentation by the Matron was excellent. At the end, she said "we are not perfect, but if there is anything you are not happy about, come to see me. I may not be able to fully correct it, but I will do my very best". One could not ask for more. My wife has been in this home for 3 years now and I am happy with every aspect of her care. I am completely satisfied that I made the right choice.
