Our fees include everything we provide for day to day living including activities, trips out, social events, all care and accommodation requirements. Extra charges are made for external suppliers of services e.g hairdressing, deliveries from the local newsagents, podiatry and physiotherapy (unless referred via the NHS).

If you chose a care home based in England, you may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC), which helps cover the cost of nursing. This is worth £254.06 per week and is usually paid directly to the care home.
Visitors always welcome. Staff can be busy at meal times, so it is preferred if visitors wish to see staff they are here between 9.30am and noon and 1.30 to 4.30pm.

New residents are provided with a welcome pack which contains information about life at Pax Hill. This usually covers most client's questions. Pax Hill has a dedicated specialist practitioner attached to our GP's surgery who visits weekly, and residents' medical needs are usually attended to in a timely manner. Pax Hill's resident liaison is available most days to assist with any concerns, and care/nursing staff are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day for residents, family and friends to talk to.

Wendy Dunford is a nurse with many years experience in running a care home. Wendy first worked at Pax Hill in 2005 as Manager of the EMF wing and after a spell with another care provider, returned as Manager for the newly built care home in 2010.
