Very grateful for the excellent care my brother had at Sutton Manor.
I cannot recommend Sutton Manor highly enough. The staff are charming, extremely caring and highly professional. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is superb and the grounds beautifully kept. The self-contained apartments are delightful and this is perfect for my father's needs.
Sutton Manor is set in beautiful grounds, the rooms are spacious and you are able to furnish them to your own taste, making it more like your own home. The nursing staff and carers are all extremely attentive and treat the residents with great respect and dignity. Their patience, understanding and care is of the highest level. The food is of a very high standard and nothing is too much trouble for the chefs and kitchen staff.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this Nursing Home.
Sutton Manor is an excellent Care Home and the staff have looked after my Mother with kindness and compassion.
Our mother has been a resident at Sutton Manor for a number of years now. Throughout that time we have been very impressed with the high levels of care shown to her and the other residents. The nursing care is excellent and the daily carers look after the residents with immense patience, diligence and empathy. The nursing home is far more like a well-loved family home than an institution, with fresh flowers, visiting pets and very well kept grounds and gardens. Our mother loves her sunny room and we can attest to the quality of the food which is delicious and plentiful. We are always given a warm welcome by the staff when we visit and nothing is too much trouble. Communication between the staff and families is very responsive and proactive which we greatly appreciate. I have no hesitation in recommending the nursing home as a very special place and we are so grateful that our mother has been so happy there.
The whole home is run with great care and staff do the utmost to provide a good service and happy atmosphere .the home is clean and always looks inviting the residents are well looked after and there is always a member of staff around to speak to.
The care team provide a safe, caring environment. The general facilities are well kept and the individual rooms are homely. As a visitor I always feel welcome and that the first priority of the staff is the well being of the residents.
Nursing care is carried out with gentleness and respect by staff who genuinely
seem to care for their patients. It speaks volumes that one key member of management and at least one care worker have been there throughout the 15 years I have been visiting my mother, and there is a surprisingly small turnover of all staff. The Matron/Manager is extremely competent and charming and her influence can be felt throughout the whole place. I have no hesitation in unreservedly recommending this happy care home.
Mum feels relaxed and safe at Sutton Manor. She likes the staff, has plenty of space in her room and enjoys the food. She is treated with dignity, respect and friendliness and appreciates not being pressurised into activities if she doesn't want to take part. I also feel she's in a safe, caring place which is well run. The home is always a pleasant place to visit. Staff pop into her room at regular times to make sure she's alright. Her health issues are dealt with efficiently and the nursing care is very good. I know that the quality of the food makes a positive difference to Mum now that her daily life is, inevitably, restricted by her health.
