The nursing home was one of three recommendations provided by Hampshire Continuing Care, and this selection is based upon our engagement with the local Palliative nursing team. We are so utterly grateful that we have been able to take up these recommendations for my mother. I can only describe it as a 5-star hotel for nursing. The facilities were nothing short of fantastic, although my poor mother was not able to experience them. The care provided to her and my family was exceptional. I sincerely do not believe there is anything else that I can add.

My sister spent the final 5 weeks of her life here on end-of-life care. The care she received was kind and considerate at all times. Nurse in charge was always ready to answer questions. All staff were understanding and helpful. As my sister passed away care, consideration and respect were shown at all times.

It was always nice to be welcomed by a cheerful receptionist. My thanks to everyone. Printed, correct information regarding what to do after death would be useful.

Extremely pleased with all aspects of care provided. All the staff are professional, kind and helpful. Tudor Lodge is kept very well maintained. The rooms feel homely and are always clean and tidy. I am happy to know that Mum is living somewhere she is extremely well taken care of with dignity and kindness.

Tudor Lodge Nursing Home is an excellent example of what a care home should be. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, all staff are polite and friendly, and all enquiries and requests are dealt with promptly - I have observed staff treating my mother with great kindness and respect. She is very happy with all aspects of her care and feels safe and comfortable. It's always difficult when a loved one needs to leave their own home to go into a care home, but Tudor Lodge is a great place to live and visit.

After visiting several nursing homes in the area hoping to find a home for my dad. I visited Tudor Lodge and I couldn’t believe how different the home was to the others, I was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who informed me that they had a room available and I was given a tour and shown the room which is perfect for Dad. This home is without doubt the cleanest and most comfortable home and he’s so happy and well looked after. All of the staff are without exception the most professional friendly and helpful you could ever meet. Since Dad has been there he has thrived. There are daily activities every day if they so wish then there’s the choice of meals from a full cooked breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks, tea and coffee or a hot chocolate. He literally wants for nothing as I say telling friends and family about Tudor Lodge. It’s a cross between a 5-star hotel and a private hospital. If you’re looking for a nursing home for your loved ones I can highly recommend Tudor Lodge.

During the time my elderly relative has been in the care home she has been treated with respect and dignity. When she arrived she was able to get around with help from the staff but she is now bedridden and finds it hard to cope with the simplest of tasks. To this end the staff have been very positive and friendly and help to wash, feed and care for her totally. I cannot praise the staff enough, the office and admin, the chefs, the cleaners, the carers and the nursing staff are all doing a wonderful job as my relative is very near end of life. I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and dedication to looking after our elderly relatives.

I would just to say that we as a family have been extremely pleased with the efforts of all the staff at the home in the past 12 months. Our mum has particular needs, including mobility, but the staff have always been outstanding in their support of her needs and have been there for her, whenever required. They are highly professional in their support for her and always friendly and understanding in her times of angst. Thank you we really do appreciate all you do for mum.

Tudor Lodge is an excellent nursing home. Since moving there my mother has been very happy. The excellent activities have encouraged her to socialise and join in with others. She looks forward to the activities programme which also provides structure to her week as well as a sense of belonging.
Staff are caring, friendly, respectful and treat her with dignity.

I would highly recommend Tudor Lodge.

When Mom transferred to the home from hospital at the beginning of the year she was very unwell. Whilst she continues to have difficult underlying conditions, she has made considerable progress during her time at the home. Still unwell but much more contented and knows she’s in a safe, supportive home. The care has been excellent! The staff are very caring, supportive, skilled and a delight to be with! This applies to the whole team: the reception team are always helpful and welcoming, the carers always seem to go the extra mile and the nursing staff are professional, supportive and caring. The management team make themselves available and are supportive. Personally, apart from Mom, it’s been a challenging time for us, as a family and the support from the home has been so reassuring. Would definitely recommend it.

Tudor Lodge has provided me and my family the confidence that my mum is receiving the best care possible, in a professional but loving and caring environment. Their compassion is not focused just on my mother, but all of us, they show great compassion and empathy towards us on each visit to Tudor Lodge.

The team demonstrate themselves to be efficient, proactive and current in the way they manage my mother's needs. They have cared for my mother for eighteen months and I have been impressed with all interactions I have had with all members of the team. They manage to retain their staff, which enables great continuity of care and they have built relationships with her as an individual. These things demonstrate the ethos of the home and the good leadership from those that manage the home, which is disseminated through all the staff, creating a lovely atmosphere. Saying thank you to Tudor Lodge does not feel sufficient, but thank you for all you do.

My husband came into Tudor Lodge six weeks ago because caring for him was really hard. He has advanced dementia and colitis. He has settled in really well and he loves talking to the wonderful carers. It's a wonderful nursing home with fantastic staff.

After many months in and out of hospital and carers at home, sadly we had no choice but for our father to go into a Nursing Home, which he never wanted. Tudor Lodge Nursing Home's reputation for the care, dignity and professionalism they provide for all of their residents was highlighted to the family by several good friends who have had a member of their family there in the past. Although our father has only been there for a short time, at present, we have found all the staff at Tudor Lodge Nursing Home, whatever their role, are friendly and accommodating.

My dad never wanted to go into a nursing home, but sadly we had no choice. The staff and the standard of Tudor Lodge made this situation for him and us, so much better than we could ever have imagined. I cannot thank the staff enough for caring for my dad in his final days, and I am so glad that it was Tudor Lodge where he ended up.

I was very pleased that my husband was sent to this nursing home directly from the hospital. I had already heard that it had a good name. I was very impressed by the care he received; he had balance and mobility problems, and I know that I could not manage to care for him at home. He told me that it was very nice, and the staff were lovely. I was treated with respect. As I visited daily, I witnessed the carers moving him and making sure he was comfortable. When he sadly died here, the staff were so good to me, did all they could to help. Thank you, Tudor Lodge.

Words cannot express our gratitude to Tudor Lodge and all their staff for their support during my mother's and father's last days. They made their transition an act of love and dignity. We will forever be grateful and hope that when our time comes, we can stay at Tudor Lodge and transition with the same dignity and care my parents experienced. From our family to the Tudor Lodge family and their beautiful bench gift, honouring our parents, we will be eternally grateful. With much love and appreciation.

We were in total awe of the amazing staff, their patience and loving care they gave our mum in her sadly, very short stay at Tudor Lodge. They went above and beyond to make sure Mum's needs were met and to make her as comfortable as possible, whilst supporting us too. The modern facilities were of a high standard. Highly recommended.

Tudor Lodge is by far head and shoulders above any I have seen. The residents' rooms are modern, light and airy and are furnished to a high standard, the communal area is bright, inviting, comfortable and homely. The accommodation is only overshadowed by the exceptional staff, every member of the team regardless of their position has been friendly, cheerful and highly professional and the level of care provided to our mother was excellent. I would highly recommend Tudor Lodge, its management and the dedicated team of nurses, carers and auxiliary staff. Sadly, our mother has now passed aged 93 and we take comfort in the knowledge that she received the best possible care.
