My grandfather was here for respite and thoroughly enjoyed his visit. He loved the food, especially the cooked breakfast and fish and chips on Friday's! He always commented on how friendly the carers were and that they brightened his day.

I would highly recommend Tudor Lodge Nursing Home.

Tudor Lodge had 2 rooms when my dad needed to go in. I didn't know what to expect as I've never gone inside. I was greeted by a lovely lady and shown around. The home itself is very homely and it's obvious that no expense has been spared on the decor or furnishings. My dad was nervous about going in also. He has now been in there almost 4 weeks. He has settled. The staff and management work so hard. The food is outstanding and they regularly give me a dinner which is so lovely to share that time with my dad. He has never eaten so well or so frequently. The home is always clean and smells fresh the cleaners all work hard. It doesn't feel like a nursing home either. Me and my brother are completely happy with every aspect of the home. I always feel welcome and happy to visit. The gardens are beautiful and kept tidy There is always something going on every day there is crafts or a quiz even games of bingo. My dad is happy, clean, well fed and warm. I really couldn't ask for anymore.

Tudor Lodge is, in every way, an excellent care home. The staff are compassionate, professional, kind and caring with a genuine enthusiasm for their roles. Nothing is too much trouble: they will always go beyond the call of duty to make my father's stay as comfortable as possible. I cannot praise them enough. For these reasons, we are likely to place another family member at the Tudor Lodge in due course.

The care and support that I see the residents receive at Tudor Lodge is first class. Nothing is too much for them and the folk are treated with dignity and respect. As a visitor very frequently they treated me the same- as if I was a member of their family visiting. Nothing was too much trouble - no question was unanswered or too trivial. I cannot speak highly enough of the place and would (and have done) recommend it.

Thanks so much for your kind words. One of the nicest things about our homes is getting to know the residents AND relatives, and it was a pleasure to look after your Dad and to have met you all.
